TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out
to true
in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use
TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

@Alphascape
I deleted your comment, support requests are a pain to handle in the comments - please repost in the forums.
@rpg877
You need the client to display them as custom biomes, but you can assign them to a default biome (ReplaceToBiome).
Know when you press F3 and it will show you what biome your in? Is there a way for it to show you the custom Biome's names? Would I have to install TerrainControl on my Client for that?
@Melekaiah
Yes.
So does terrain control work with multiworld and multiverse?
@Empousa
It is possible to merge an existing world with a new TC world: http://kartwork.de/tutorial/html/world_merging.html
but creating a new world is way easier. Feel free to ask more questions on the forums.
I looked at the wiki but i couldn't find an answer. Do i have to create a new world or can this work on a existing world?
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in designing some new terrains for me! It is for my new upcoming server which is RPG themed. If you're interested, please leave an inbox so we can figure something out!
Olly.

RetroMining - I deleted your post, support requests can only be handled in the forums (see big red text above the comments).
@UnUltima23
BO3 supports random blocks, so small variations are supported within one BO3. But it's easier to make several BO3's in most cases. If you have any more questions, head to the forums.
Do i have to create a seperate BO3 for each and every variation of an object?
@Finelarme2
Not sure what map you mean. Check the downloads thread: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/terrain-control/forum/43735-downloads-user-created-worlds-biomes-and-objects/
..nearly all downloadable configs for TC are linked there.
Hi.
Thanks for your plugin.
Can i download the map of the Contributor "mysource" ? I search it :).
The file for 1.6.1 is uploaded, just not approved yet. You can send me a PM if you really cannot wait for it to be approved. :) You can also get it from GitHub.
Sorry, a few comments have been removed by mistake:
Hi,
as a requested idea, I made a new cave world.
Its ceiled at the top (256) and bottom (0) by bedrock and there are many perforated layers of stone landmass.
Rivers build up at about 85 to 90 height close to the median altitude in that cave world.
Falls of Lava and Water add some action, same with bo2Ā“s, made to spawn underground (may be extended to even more trees and/or whatever).
All layers and other landmass has curved volatility for better look.
Sadly most canĀ“t even be shown in Eihort screens as its huge distance AND cave resultant darkness, but 3 screens to give an impression:
Bye
Created by a special request some biomes, covered (ceiled) by bedrock and separated by bedrock walls up to that ceiling too.
The low illumination from some glowstone laterns (bo2Ā“s) is the only light source in that otherwise cpl. dark world:
ThatĀ“s not really my personal taste, but its a challenging task for sure ;-)
I created an "overworld" edition of "the End" today:
At top and bottom just void, "the End" is 100% floating End Stone with 2 versions of the obsidian pillars, one with dragon eye on top (instead of Ender crystal, which isnĀ“t working sadly with its ID 200) and also Endermen are spawning.
I updated today my vulcano area (a few custom biomes in use) and added a small_lake bo2 too in that TallForest (up to 125 blocks tall trees) biome:
(please use: right-click...show image... to see cpl. image)
With the help of Mysource and Lantoaster I made Hueco Mundo from the anime/manga bleach http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5Fo78ZwXxI
Hi,
I created an eroded valley (2 custom biomes):
Bye ;-)
I would like to know if this is for single player. I like making my own maps and i would like to use this, but i cant seem to find a signle player download link. :(
Please help!
