This is a simple 'plug and play' plugin that adds a difficulty to creatures, and a Level Indication based on their distance from Spawn. The current formula to get the mobs level is by default as follows....
(((Distance from closest spawnpoint) - CenterBuffer) / Distance) + 1 = Mob Level

This gives the result of creatures 0 - 49 blocks from spawn = Level 1. 50-99 = Level 2, etc

The distance value of, 50, can be modified by your own choice
What these levels change and add...

Increases Damage / Health a monster has (these levels play into configurable formulas that increase damage and health)

Adds armor to creatures at specific increments (configurable)

Gives different loot drops based on level
Level Regions
Level regions can be created (in conjunction with World Guard) to create zones of stronger/weaker mobs!
You simply create a level region with the worldguard id and give it a level!
From there you can customize mob names based on regions!
Mob Variants
Commands
- /lrm - displays all available commands of the ones listed below (if not listed check permissions)
- /lrm butcher [radius] - kills all entities loaded in world that aren't tamed
- /lrm region - access to all region commands
- /lrm reload - saves/reloads config files
- /lrm spawnpoint - access to all spawnpoint commands
- /lrm update - updates the plugin, takes effect after server restart

- lrm.admin - gives access to most the commands above
- lrm.butcher - gives access to the butcher command
- lrm.update - gives access to /lrm update - uses auto updater to allow for automatic updates!

Hey so I am having an issue where the level of the mob doesnt show up, but everything else works just fine. I also use MythicMobs until you can get the part where we build our own bosses done. Could this be the issue? I am running version 2.3.8.2.

Forget my previous comment, I am more concerned on which version of Essentials this was built on, seeing how I am getting rlgura's error as well, its identical to mine with Essentials and this plugins version, minus the 50 other plugins I have.
Does this plugin have compatibility for SkillAPI?

Interesting. I have EssentialsX and at some point your plugin loaded because it created the base configuration files. I went back to just LRM, EssentialsX, Vault, WorldEdit, and WorldGuard, but still getting the error. I'll wait for your fix

I need to fix a couple of the loading lines. I forgot I tweaked some of the code to use essentials. So that is temporarily required until I fix that. But I will fix it tonight/tomorrow
Getting a UserDoesNotExistException with this plugin on a new 1.10.2 bukkit installation. Moved all other plugins out and still get the error. Running on Windows 10 with 64-bit Java 1.8.0_91

Interesting, is there no extensive stacktrace for this issue? As far as I know, I reference the CaveSpider via my own custom entity in terms of spawners. But I'm not sure where else I would have used a task for handling creatures... So if there is a larger stacktrace feel free to paste bin so I can get to the root of all evil!

I'll do what I can to make the elite nameplate configurable for you! As for mythic mobs, I'll need to get back in touch with that developer. Been a long time since I've messed with the MythicApi

Not sure what you mean about casting a player as monster. If you mean my heroes handling, it simply catches the player to handle spreading exp accordingly. Otherwise it passes on to monsters. I do believe I handle it and catch player combat(and ignore it if it is a player). The min=1, and max=2, is for other mobs not in the config file(an attempt at modding support). If you can give me a relatively precise line where I did indeed make a mistake, I will fix it!
Updated to 1.10.2, I will be looking into bug posts from people and trying to resolve these.
I wonder why you haven't discovered a obvious error in your code yet... There's something went wrong with your 'EntityDamageByEntity' Listener because your code process Player as a monster and their damage was reduced to a abnormal figure between 1 to 2. I think you should really fix this with a line of code:

Hello, I've installed the last version (2.3.8.1) and when i start server (Spigot v9.1) this plugin fail with this error:
[LorinthsRpgMobs] Task #42 for LorinthsRpgMobs v2.3.4 generated an exception java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No enum constant org.bukkit.entity.EntityType.CAVESPIDER
"CAVESPIDER" should be "CAVE_SPIDER", is not it? Can you fix, please? :)

Great plugin - I've been using it for a long while on my server now and it does just what I want it to! I've come up with some nice HP / damage scaling equations so the curve gets steeper the closer to the world edge my players get. I've so far not found another plugin that does this, so many thanks for the effort!
I have a couple of queries which I hope you can help me with:
- Elite mobs spawn with a red nameplate. This is always visible (through walls, floors etc.) Is there a way to disable this? I'd like elites to still have the red nameplate, but only show up when very close just like the normal mobs.
- MythicDrops support. I know this is a long shot, but LRPGM and MythicDrops are two key plugins on my server and it would be perfect if mobs could be made to drop different MythicDrops tiers based on their level!
