TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out
to true
in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use
TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

@deleted_6846210 Does that work for 1.4? Just wondering. I know that it says "1.3.2" but still.
@456205841sdfsdfs
Hi,
no this is not okay for 2 reasons:
1. Its not my world and if you would have read more carefully, you would know its
made by massivecraft. (Try to get it from Cayorion....;-)....)
(But as you refuse to read and follow even that simple rule NOT to post here...no wonder, sadly)
2. As I donĀ“t sell anything, nobody can purchase something from myself.
I always just get donated for my work.
Bye
@maxi1134
Check the Download's thread in the forums, isn't the Skylands preset what you are searching for? You could increase the biome sizes for bigger, more continent-like flying islands.
Do someone here could try to make a Flying continent configuration ?
I have try but i can't make it by myself .
MySource we are about to email you about purchasing the generator in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=c_Kxqpo8DwM
So my name will be Johnny, okay

Weekly reminder: You wont get support on the wall, if you experience bugs or problems using TC you can open a thread on the forums and we'll try to figure it out.
Hi,
I compiled Khoorns newest TC dev version for Java 6 now too and updated my download page to offer it next to the Java 7 version and the "old" MC 1.3.2 version.

Looking forward to a stable official release :)
@rutgerkok
Did you by any chance add those compatibility changes?
i make the changes in the bukkit yml but they keep reverting back to original settings
I should post my configs, but as i understand it the format is about to change next update :( I have an ice planet, a lava ocean planet, and most of them are massive ravine shattered looking worlds - and various atol style worlds, which are a lot tamer looking.
Next project.. ruely interrupted by 1.4 was a desert world.
But the experimental builds seem to alude to using a totally different config setup.. so i am a bit worried.
@rutgerkok
The version you listed causes bukkit errors i will try to figure out the issue right now but handling a few other real life issues at the moment
Terrain Control and Minecraft 1.4
In the forums and in the issues tracker I see a lot of reports of Terrain Control not working on 1.4. That's true, it has to be updated. In the source code it has been updated, but Khoorn hasn't compiled it yet. Here is an experimental build, compiled by mysource (Java 6 and 7, includes fixes Khoorn and Cayorion made on 7 november):
Use on your own risk and backup everything!

Hi,
thanks Burckhart ;-)
@rvarnell:
You may use my stuff (Testworld) to test MC 1.4.2 even now using TC (a dev version for 1.4.2) as I send many infos and Links associated with all Testworld requests for use with MC 1.3.2 and 1.4.2 always.
As next MC is again getting off the starting blocks ;-( ... its always a work in progress sadly.
I think, next MC Updates/Versions will not "break" the TC for 1.4.2 hopefully, so the worlds created for 1.4.2 will continue to work. (but IĀ“m not sure).
My way is to use always my last testworld and watch what happens to the configs/values in any update of MC/TC. Most times in the past its just working like before, sometimes small adjustments have been necessary and very rare bigger ones (mainly to that new bo2 handling in TC the last time)
Its on you now to give it a quick try, just see my signature (Testworld) for details.
Bye
PS:
@ ALL: Forget about what I told about posting at this wall here...as anybody is doing this at any place, I will not refuse to do as well ;-)
Nice work with the Testworld, mysource!
When the TC for 4.2 is up officially, I'll toss you a donation for your pack. You've perfected several biomes I struggled with for a while. Can't wait to get my hands on this in a 1.4.2 Bukkit world!
@zoomafou
There is a skylands preset in our downloads thread. You can try it out and adjust it.
Nice vid mysource! Will link it on the page once I figure out a way to display all these awesome videos without using too much space.
Any chance that someone could make a skylands one but not as crazy and intense as SkyLands+?
@deleted_6846210
awesomeness xD
Looks sweet! Definitely going to download!
