TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out
to true
in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use
TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

Maybe this thread will help: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/terrain-control/forum/41536-cave-world-lighting/#p1
If not, just post to the forums and we'll figure it out.
WOW. THIS IS AMAZING! Its like going into the future and getting minecraft 4.0!
is there a way to make bedrock ceiling not let the light pass? making it like 20 layers of bedrock or something? cause i got a cave world and its all lit up
@WavyWonderz
Depending on what you want you could contact mysource, this is his homepage: http://kartwork.de/tutorial/html/contact.html He creates worlds in exchange for donations. Or you could also ask in the forums.
Is it possible for me to request a world generation for someone to make for me? If so that'd be great! I'm not to good with all the config editing.
This is awesome, I'm going to download it.
impossible to add lines in bukkit.yml. bukkit doesn't like it and replace by fresh file. we still don't know where to put bo2 files.
@godgodgodgo
Yes, along with a lot of his other posts. We should add that again on the page, it was a good idea to transfer that stuff in the forums.
@ALL: Support is in the FORUMS. Ask there and you'll get answers. Answering them here will only result in Chaos.
@mysource removed his comment? O_O
On Mac BTW
Is it Possible to set Schematics to spawn randomly or in a certain area of the world whenever a new world is generated?
I need help, i want to generate a world without diamond with NORMAL mode, so with the default biomes. I already try to delete the string with DIAMOND ORE in these biomes configurations, but it not worked, and when i create my world, it still generate DIAMOND_ORE...how to do this?..
I started experimenting with panorama screens of my world, click here or the picture to see the whole thing. It's two 360°-panoramas quickly put together. Not the best quality but good enough for illustration.
Biomes (first appearance from left to right): Heathland, Cypress Hill, Plains, Mountains, Marshlands, Mixed Forest, Hills, Meadows (with the many flowers), Oak grove. Of course there are more than those biomes in my world but they are difficult to get on one picture.
I've used this mod before in SSP and it has worked fine. Now, when I try to use it, the "Terrain Control" will not appear in the "World Type" button D=
I know! Im having issues too. Ive never used it before, but I follow the directions exactly all I get is a crash report. It must be something to do with the newest update.
What texture pack is this?
Here are a few shots of a volcano biome I made and a couple of the super tall mesas terrain control allows. Ill have to dig out my glacier biome and get some pics of it sometime.
Here is an example of a world we created using a .png image. This image is from screenshots viewing our dynamic map. The grey splotches are mountains exceeding 170 height, which is the point I configured TC to replace dirt with stone.
Here is a larger image, but too big to fit in this little chatbox: http://imgur.com/Vzg5G
Someone needs to do a video tutorial on how to use the SSP version.
the tutorial linked shows how to use this on a bukkit server, but it makes very little sense regardless.
This is the SEXIEST plugin i have ever seen :'D
