LorinthsRpgMobs
This is a simple 'plug and play' plugin that adds a difficulty to creatures, and a Level Indication based on their distance from Spawn. The current formula to get the mobs level is by default as follows....
(((Distance from closest spawnpoint) - CenterBuffer) / Distance) + 1 = Mob Level
-
This gives the result of creatures 0 - 49 blocks from spawn = Level 1. 50-99 = Level 2, etc
-
The distance value of, 50, can be modified by your own choice
What these levels change and add...
-
Increases Damage / Health a monster has (these levels play into configurable formulas that increase damage and health)
-
Adds armor to creatures at specific increments (configurable)
-
Gives different loot drops based on level
Level Regions
Level regions can be created (in conjunction with World Guard) to create zones of stronger/weaker mobs!
You simply create a level region with the worldguard id and give it a level!
From there you can customize mob names based on regions!
Mob Variants

- /lrm - displays all available commands of the ones listed below (if not listed check permissions)
- /lrm butcher [radius] - kills all entities loaded in world that aren't tamed
- /lrm region - access to all region commands
- /lrm reload - saves/reloads config files
- /lrm spawnpoint - access to all spawnpoint commands
- /lrm update - updates the plugin, takes effect after server restart
Permissions
- lrm.admin - gives access to most the commands above
- lrm.butcher - gives access to the butcher command
- lrm.update - gives access to /lrm update - uses auto updater to allow for automatic updates!

@Nutty101
Additionally thank you for the upkeep, seems I owe it to you. If you made any fixes I'd be curious in some details. Though I may do a thorough rewrite of this plugin =)
So, seems I have come back to bukkit. I will be working on a clean build of this plugin asap. Give me at most a week to have all required versions out
Additionally please post which versions you would like and I will be uploading them as I get them built. I'm not a professional with reflection, and do it by hand.
@p82183645
The one from bukkit does not, it's not for this version. The one I liked should.
Don't use LegendQuest. I just fixed this one for my stuff.
Incidentally spigot1.8.8 this plugin does not work
You can support LegendQuest plugin? http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/legendquest/
<<reply 2705357>>
Don't have many cropping up with it. I have other issues with it, but that's due to my own plugins and others.
Are you running the one I posted up as a link below?
http://www.livecar.net/temp/LorinthsRpgMobs1_8_3-RECOMP_3.jar
Alright. After 3 days of waiting, I got switched over to a node with Java 8. Now, I'm getting the same error with what I had previously with the newest jar. Same as in the pastebin.
Do you not get this error? What plugins do you use with it?
@MissYva
Can you see your server logs at all? Might be a good place to start
No clue. Paid hosting site.
@MissYva
Ohh, java 7 or 8?
No errors, it doesn't create any config files, isn't shown on the plugin list of the server, and when I put in the config from the earlier version I still get no response or startup message from it on the console. It is as if it isn't seen at all.
@MissYva
With the 1.8.3 one I posted, what errors are you getting?
1.8.3 simply isn't working. I updated my spigot to the latest, used the one you linked, used the one here.
1.6 actually works... sometimes.
However., when I start up my server it says: get-Spigot-035939-9a17f01 (MC:1.8.8) (Implementing API version 1.8.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)
@MissYva
Not sure on that one. 1.8.3 was the last version he released. 1.6 is pretty old. Sorry, I'm not of much use.
@MissYva
I am getting quite the error flooding my console. I really hope I can use this plugin, I really don't want to go to all the work of mythicmobs or something similar. Here is a paste bin of the errors I'm getting.
http://pastebin.com/BWYKGnkM
Is there a way to fix this? Did I mess something up? I've adjusted the formula to give a lot more health as my skillapi classes give lots of health. Maybe that is having a bad effect on it.
Edit: I put the mobs file back to the original format but I'm still getting the error. It hasn't shut down my server yet, but I just got rid of ConquestiaMobs because of it flooding my console and shutting down my server.
@c0rrie
That's most likely the reason.
git-Spigot-fdc1440-53fac9f (MC: 1.8.8) (Implementing API version 1.8.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) is what it was built against.
Also just noticed that my last post didn't format well on the spawn locations for calculating the levels. So below is an example of how to manage that via Worlds.yml
Worlds:
NeverMore:
initlevel: 1
distance: 50
enabled: true
'1':
center:
x: 0
y: 80
z: 0
'2':
center:
x: 10000
y: 80
z: 10000
@Nutty101
Hey sorry for the wait - work and xmas stuff.
I use Multicraft to set my Spigot version. Currently I have it set to Spigot 1.8.8 and when checking /version it returns: git-Spigot-952179b-2f50138 (MC: 1.8) (Implementing API version 1.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT).
I'm unsure if this means that my server provider (or Multicraft) are just lying that it's Spigot 1.8.8, or if it's just abbreviating it..
Might this be the case, and if so, should I contact my provider and ask them to update their Spigot version?
@c0rrie
What version of spigot are you running? This one was compiled to 1.8.8 only due to the coding. That's why 1.8.8 broke the current one on here.
As for the central spawn, you cannot really change that part. However you can use regions to set the levels. And well honestly, I have not looked at the code all that much. Just fixed what was borked for 1.8.8 to make it work again.
*Forgot*, you can change the spawn stuff in the config files. Setting a center to X,Y,Z.. Just add things to the world you wana add/edit like below.
'1': center: x: 0 y: 80 z: 0 '2': center: x: 10000 y: 80 z: 10000
Heyup, loving the idea of this plugin - it seems to exactly fit my needs!
One problem: It seems to not work on my Spigot 1.8.8 server.
I have tried both the official release version here and the recomp that Nutty provided, and both yield the same string of console errors:
http://pastebin.com/8Dij0R2n
Any advice here?
Also, with regards to the plugin config (when I get it running): Will the plugin work correctly if the world spawn is NOT at 0,0? Mine is at 1500,-1200 and I'd like mobs to scale from there.. Will this work by default or do I need to change something in the config?
Thanks in advance.
Not with how it is at the moment. :(
