Intelligence - Crazed

  • Will attack Hostile Mobs
  • Will NOT attack Players
  • Will NOT attack Animals
  • Will NOT Score and smartly choose enemies
  • Will NOT respond to skull bow targets
  • Shoots arrows Normal Spread 20
  • Firing Range: 50% of the max range set in the config
  • Weakest arrow attack (Usually takes up to 4 hits to kill a creeper)
  • No Friendly Fire Protection


Intelligence - Devious

  • Will attack Hostile Mobs
  • Will NOT attack Players
  • Will NOT attack Animals
  • Will NOT Score and smartly choose enemies
  • Will NOT respond to skull bow targets
  • Shoots arrows Tight Spread 10
  • Firing Range: 75% of the max range set in the config
  • Normal arrow attack (Usually takes 3 hits to kill a creeper)
  • Friendly Fire Protection


Intelligence - Master

  • Must have its targets set via commands or a skullbook or else it will target nothing
  • Will Score and smartly choose enemies
  • Will target enemies shot by skull bow
  • Shoots arrows maximum accuracy
  • Firing Range: 90% of the max range set in the config
  • Strong arrow attack (Usually takes 2 hits to kill a creeper)
  • Friendly Fire Protection


Intelligence - Wizard

  • Will if told via commands attack any mob or player.
  • Will Score and smartly choose enemies
  • Will target enemies shot by skull bow
  • Requires ammo box to function
  • Firing Range: 90% of the max range set in the config
  • Primary fire: Splash Potions from ammo box (Slow, Weakness, Poison, Harm, Heal)
  • Secondary fire: Strong fire arrow attack (Only if target is very near death)
  • Only skull type that can successfully attack Endermen. (Must use Splash Harm potion)
  • Friendly Fire Protection


Devious Temporary Skull Turret

  • A shapeless recipe any combination of the above and any amount of arrows from 1 to 448 is valid for the recipe
  • Has a built in amount of ammo that will be used by the skull till it is exhausted.
  • Will either self destruct of go offline when out of ammo at which point it must be reloaded with arrows
  • The ammo for a temporary skull can not be changed from arrows
  • Global commands and defaults do not work on Temporary Turrets
  • Uses Devious Skull Intelligence Rules

Skull Bow

  • Any Living Entity shot with this bow will be a target of all owned Master / Wizard skulls in range of the target
  • Skulls will attempt to target as soon as they are able
  • Skulls will continue to target as long as enemy is in firing range, is not blocked by obstacles and would not cause friendly fire.
  • Skulls will forget the target after 1 minute of time even if target re-enters range
  • Target Timer is reset each time Target is shot with bow
  • skullturret.ignoreme permissions makes target immune
  • Does not require ammo (Bow has Infinity arrow enchant)
  • Bow does not do any damage to targets.


Redstone Powered Skull

Crazed Skull Redstone Animation

  • This is an example of a crazed skull being activated using Redstone detection.
  • The skull is only allowed to patrol normally when Redstone is detected.
  • The skull will not target or fire at targets when Redstone is NOT detected.
  • Skulls that normally display visual effects will not show effects while redstone is NOT detected.
  • The block below the fence post is a Lapis Lazuli Block Set in the config and is the block used to detect redstone signals
  • If redstone is enabled in the config, Skulls must be told to listen for redstone using first /skull edit to select the skull. Then /skull redstone to enable redstone detection for that skull.

  • Skull Turrets will look for ammo chests in the above areas
  • Any of the above layouts are valid, and any combination of the above layouts are also valid
  • All chests will be checked for ammo
