I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

Tnt does not travel with ship?
And its not working some reason it doesn't show it in my plugins folder when I put it in there and I gave myself the perms too

hello im using you plugin on a server and its very good except there seems to be a issue with ships over 600 blocks where they will only work for 5 secs on the initial server reloads or restarts i dont think anything is wrong on the server since we run 10gb ram no lag and boats dont seem to cause any sever lag whatsoever its very fun and interesting thx for that but also the last thing was there does seem to be player side crashes when the boat turns sometimes but ive heard it can be because of double chests within the ships except it only seems to work when i turn a specific direction whereas the other should have crashed it to i would like to know why that may be and also what can i do to solve the 600 block + ship issue besides making a smaller ship because this ship is very nice in its architecture and so on thatnks for you time and good luck.
I think the type of ship speed of some of the many want. I want to use features of the only ship, but I is inconvenient for speed. And, I would like you to fix the problem that overlap due to collision of each ship.

Listen up, little misunderstanding. The "Week server" for a long time does not work, perhaps from version 2.2. It was a configuration code and appears in settins but does nothing. I removed it because there were a lot of questions that detects a collision, etc.
I looked through the code and I removed.
As for the lag and the size of vessels:
If you have a terribly weak server is no option will not help you. Ships got on my notebook with intel atom and five people had used ships without major problems.If you want to build ships instead of 100000000000000000 blocks that you have to select a different plugin because it has technical limitations. Ships are mapped for the help of a recursive function so that you can add when you move or delete / destroy the ship new bloks, etc.

... ok ... see if the error is there when you use ships 3.1.7 (not out yet, but said to be the latest) if the error is there then, its something to look at

The problem went away when I stopped using double chests and used only single chests instead.

how big is the ship? how powerful is the server? if its a week server, is week server true?
I have been getting this error when moving the ships (again, does it have to do with the wool to non-wool ratio?)

Yeah I already did that, and got the problem. The creator of Cannons got the same problem. He suggested that turning or moving the ship creates illegal block states.

It's a very good idea. I did not want to add the list of blocks to the ship as it slowed to an action plugin (because there is no loop for checking each block). But such a rigid list is acceptable.
I do not remember if I added dispensers, if not then I will add in the near future. This is not complicated.
I made a new build. Soon will be accepted (probably) everything should work.

I see a couple of people talking about cannons...I didn't think those were available...yet?

oh lua to bukkit plugins never have the full connection to craftbukkit, e.g i can not get lua to delete blocks then replace them in a new pos. unless i write out a brand new lot of code, but then java is needed, its much easier for me to learn java.
if i get the source code for this plugin i could start working on it

i had guest that the plugin would work fine for 1.6.2 but its just not recommended, like the new blocks (carpets, hay, etc) do not work on ships. also the mob moving code i have seen you add will not support horses.
i also have some ideas that could be applied to this plugin. lots of people (including myself) have wanted glowstone to work on the ships, and some other people dont want this. why dont you have it so in the config file it has something like
with this setup you can keep everyone happy with what blocks should be able to move and what should not and allow users to have more freedom with this plugin
another thing that has bugged me (for other reason) and others, is the problem that dispensers, etc, when you put a item in, it falls out when you move the ship.
lastly i know it takes a long time for you to think up the code, and to type it all down, its something that a lot of people forget (including me at times) so all ill say is no rush, and if i can help in any more ways then i am already the please don't hesitate to ask
