Setup:
Create a structure of your ship with 60% (unless the server has changed the configuration) of any colour wool. After that place a furnace on the ship and provide it with fuel (by default COAL is the fuel provided on the bottom slot). Lastly get some netherrack and attach it to your structure, then set it on fire. This provides the burner.
