What is RacesAndClasses?
RacesAndClasses (RaC) was made to bring the best RPG experience to Minecraft servers. You are able to customize your own classes and races, making your server a world full of adventure! RaC is inspired by the biggest MMORPG game in the world, known as World Of Warcraft.

Plugins with RaC
RaC works with almost any plugin! Mcmmo, heroes, faction and towny. These are the most commonly used plugins for this plugin and they all work 100%
RaC offers plenty of configuration, for each individual server. For example some server owners love the teleport arrow for raiding, and some don't; so It's all up to you.
Developers guide
RaC is as mentioned, a customizable plugin, that also counts for custom traits.
This means, that any developer can make their own traits and make his/her server even more special!

Important notices
First of all: All these components can be disabled in the config!
Gravity's Updater:
For legal reasons and for uploading this plugin to Bukkit I have to mention, that the plugin has an updating service which connects to 'http://www.curseforge.com/'. This includes:
- Checking the Version of the plugin against the newest release Version.
- Downloading the newest Version if enabled.
Error Uploader:
Also the Plugin uses an Error Uploding Service, which connects to my Domain: www.tobiyas.tk.
This includes:
- Reading Errors from the error.log located at plugins/RacesAndClasses/debug/error.log
- Uploading these errors to my domain (www.tobiyas.tk)
- The Errors are visibly ONLY to me (Tobiyas) and are regularly checked to find and fix bugs faster than via Tickets.
Hidendra's Metrics:
The plugin uses Hidendra's Metrics service and sends Metrics data of your Server to the Metrics at 'http://mcstats.org/'. This includes:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
All these services are optional and can be disabled via Configuration.
UPDATING From 1.1.6 AND OLDER VERSION
If you use the config.raceMaxHealth: ... of a race, this has been removed with 1.1.7.
You now have to use config.healthbonus: ... (as in classes) instead.
You get 20 base health + race healthbonus + class health bonus.
UPDATING FROM 1.0.3 AND OLDER VERSION
If you use
general_saving_savePlayerDataToDB: true
Set this option to false and do a restart with the old Version. For best Use with 1.0.3 (RC 2)! This will convert all File DB related Data to YML data. If you do NOT do this, your PlayerData will be LOST!!!
If you have
general_saving_savePlayerDataToDB: false
you can safely ignore this step.
Known Bugs for Current Version (1.2.0)
Only runs on Bukkit distros using Spigot API (spigot, paper, ...).
Is there a trait to run a certain command a soon as someone joins a class? Having it give permissions to each player individually is a bit inefficient and it doesn't take them away when they leave the class. It would be better if I could say for example RunCommandOnJoinClass: setrank {player} archer
(I have an alias for setrank)
The problem with it currently is it would take forever to create a good class that progresses as it levels up, would it be possible if it automatically did the floor function or if you could just decide that in the config? As I said I am a java newb but could you post the source code so i could try? And is it possible to use skillapi skills in this? I just noticed that you do have a sword damage increase trait.

Your files are wrongly formatted. Try to fix them fixing the YML structure.

This is a cool idea, but this is not really possible. It's really hard to do that.

Do you have a SwordDamageIncrease trait? And also it would be really helpful if there was a variable called {LEVEL} or something. I am trying to create a warrior class that does more damage per level. So it would be extremely helpful if I could do DamageIncreaseTrait: operation: '+' value: Math.floor({LEVEL}/2)+1
If that is the correct Java function (I'm a huge Java newb) Lastly is there a way to check what class a player is in their race. For example if I want to give the miner class a certain bonus if they are a dwarf and a penalty if they are a halfling.

How the permission group is create? I am using GroupManager. Will this create the group in GM config?
The default orc and elven races are working fine but the new races I made and the classes I edited for more traits when I go to the selection menu in game it dosnt list the traits at all for the new races and it also dosnt list the trats for the classes I edited

Check the language file. (plugins/RacesAndClasses/language/en/en.yml)
There is the tag 'plugin_pre'. Simply set it to empty (plugin_pre: '').

Food stuff is hardcoded.
The Lore has to contain 2 line:
Where X is the Amount to heal every second and Y is the time to heal (in seconds). Example Item:
That would heal 2 Health every second for 5 seconds -> 10 Health.
Movement aborts eating.

Armor should actually be ignored for the magic. Have to check that.
There is currently no way to stop players to first choose the race, then the class.
Just one last thing, i think you should be able to customize the item's lore (In the GUI) to 100%, its ugly with: armor: chain,diamond,gold,iron,leather I want to be able to change everything! And again, awesome plugin!

Deals no damage when a player wear Diamond Armor. Can't set damage, it deals always the same damage.
I try damage: 5 damage: 10 damage: 30 on a naked player. I try damage: 5.5 damage: 10.5 damage: 30.5 on a naked player. Deals 2.5 hearts.
It is the same for all Magic Skills the Damage variable change nothing.
I looked everywhere in the wiki, I do not see where you show how the food system works, how do i set the lores in the race to determine what lores need to be on food?
A small question , how i can change the chat? i mean when it says for example (RaC):You may not use that tool! how can i change the RaC ?

Which Version of RaC are you using? I checked my code and around the parsing, there is a color-code parsing. Also, minecraft internal color-codes are not &, but §.
Also to your suggestions:
1. PermanentPotionTrait: yes, I can change that. That's a good Idea. The idea behind the 15 seconds was that when losing the trait, you need no real removing, because it ends soon anyway.
2. You can configure the GUI items pretty much your own.
Well at least some things.
You can customize the position of the item in the gui, the item which is used (and when 1.1.9 comes out, you can replace the trait part with a custom text).
Here a small example:
Here you have race (Orc) with an apple as symbol.
In the Gui it is places in slot 4 (this is about the middle in the top row).
The Permanent Potion Trait is shown as 'Muscle Strength' with the description 'Gives you permanent strength'.
I guess that solves most of your suggestions. ;)
Absolutely fantastic plugin! But there are somethings i don't quite understand: Why aren't color codes working? I set a race's tag to &7[&aElf&7], and in tab, chat etc, it says "&7[&aElf&7]", without colors.
And another thing is more maybe a suggestion, when giving a race or class the PermanentPotionTrait, i think the timers when looking in your inventory should be :, instead of like 14 going up and down, as it is right now. And the last one, i think when using a GUI, you should have a description option, to change the itemID of the class/race in the gui, aswell as lore and name.

The Hotbar is pretty easy. You can change between Build and Battle Mode (use command /bt). To set the skillt to use for the slots with '/obt' or '/bt open'. You can use the skills in battlemode by pressing the keybord keys for that skill (as long as your current selection is 2 slots away), or use a rightclick with the item (shears). That's about it. It's also very usefull for Mage-spells for example.
Poisoned Weapon crafting seems to be broken after a '/racesreload'. Before it works fine.
I'll fix that.
EDIT: fixed the Poison Weapon problem.

Ok for the mana i got it ! But i don't understand how does the hotbar or bindings work can you explain this to me beaucause i didn't find anything that explains how it works on you plugin page.
And you didn't answer me about the poisoned blade :p When i put a redrose and a sword into a craftbench i have the item that appears but i can take it, it stays in the craftbench slot. Any idea ?

The Backstab Trait can only be triggered with the hotbar or bindings at the moment.
Mana regeneration has to be done with a trait. The ManaRegenerationTrait to be exact.
I'll check that one with the Arrows.
EDIT: can't recreate the problem with the stuck arrow.

Yup, my error seems to be the Java 8 thing you're talking about. :) Also, traits and hearts disappearing on Multiverse world change is still occurring as well sadly.
