I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |

Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

depending on what you are trying to go for in ship design, try and have blocks that cant be burnt(Ironblock diamond block, nether brick fence etc.) make sure there is sufficient space between the area that has the Nether brick fence or metallic block from where your wool starts again, or else the top of the metallic block(I don't know about nether brick fences) will somehow catch on fire and spread to the wool
Any possibility of adding beds and doors to the list of allowed things? Or, possibly allow the items that can be used to be customizable in the config? I'd been using movecraft (until 3 months ago), but that is amazingly broken for me. This appears to be stable, but I find myself limited for a ships true purpose. Your code your rules, I'd just love to see this as an option.
Also, fire keeps trying to spread from my burner. (I'm testing before deployment and only adding wool volume.. It burns wool, as well as jungle wood. It does destroy blocks; but but not normally.) And my wheel doesn't work. It loads as it should, but behaves as if it were just a normal sign Anything I could be doing wrong? I did set wool requirement to 1%. That's it.
Hey could you make items stay in dispensers
Is there a way to allow certain blocks to be used as ship parts? Some blocks I'd like to use are seen as obstacles when touching the ship. This includes hardended clay and lapiz

this plugin is not build for large ships, thats why Qx2 put a limit on, you can change it lower however expect your server to crash when you build massive ships, i am testing the biggest ship you can have without the server crashing.

You can change the max size in the config.yml in your Ships folder.
ummm.... why does there have to be a limit on how big ships are?, because i really want to have a huge ship, and sail it around
Hey since updating to the recent update, double chests don't seem to work quite as well. This happens when turning the ship, the chests go 'within' other blocks, but are physically where they're meant to be but don't look like they are. make sure your using the ships sign properly. like the following;
[ships] airship blank blank
or
[ships] ship blank blank
or
[ships] marsship blank blank
Hi, I just upgraded to the newest ships version and whenever I try to make the main [ships] sign it says "Do not have permission for this action". I'm owner, plus op. I even added the permission ships.* to myself. The [wheel] and everything else works perfectly fine though.

To make a burner, you simply place a netherrack down somewhere ATTACHED to the ship. From there, you light it and it should work. Make sure that nothing flammable is near your burner or your ship will burn down.
How do you make a burner???
Can we add items to be able to fly with the ship?
A few bugs in 3.1.7
1. Chests are still bugged. Any chest in the axis of an engine sign will crash my client. Turning ships with double chests crashes my client. Willing to post more crash reports but honestly that's the problem.
2. A wheel sign in the axis of an engine sign causes the engine sign to turn the ship.
3. Ship furnaces duplicate items attached to them, like torches and signs.
4. The beacon effect resets when moving the ship.
Tip for anyone that wants to put a chest on their ship; Use a donkey and a lead! Also I was wondering if the developer is working on the Submarines feature yet? Me and my buddies have been excited for it for quite some time :D

marsships do work, they have for some time (i do know about the problem where they only work between 6-7, the in game time)
i have herd that mobs are carried on ships (i have never tested this, and i can not until i get back to Britten.
Chest have worked properly for a while, ever since 3.0 (i have not been able to test the latest copy of this plugin)
Hey! Ok so i believe that i have posted this before, but i want to make sure this is heard! Ok so firstly i would like to suggest that you do your best to get chests to work and maintain the items in them rather than popping them out every movement... secondly i would like to suggest that you make it possible to hold mobs on board, because they might be needed for a long voyage! Over all though i absolutely love this mod, and the new mars ships will be absolutely fantastic for me to implement into this game! I cant wait to try one out, good luck, keep up the good work, and get back to me asap! Awesome plugin!
Hello I seem to be having a lot of problems trying to run this plugin in 1.6.2 When I down grade to 1.5.2 using 3.1.7 build of ships it doesn't load but when I down grade to 1.5.2 it works so could you update this plugin to run with 1.6.2 . Thanks for you time.
Just wondering will it be possible to make a default water level system for things like world generators or underground lakes generators because if you use boats lower than lvl 62 it will generate extra water
I love this mod but when I use it on my server when I use the sign it says unable to locate sign it works but it keeps saying that is their a way to fix it?
