Residence
About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

It looks like one of their translation files uses invalid characters, you should change this file if you can, its the file called: "Chinese.yml"
Oh and by the way, you shouldnt use iConomy anymore, its very broken in 1.7 - 1.8 I recommend CraftConomy3 , its really nice and has an easy setup command for newbies :)

Posted Jan 16, 2015Thank you for replying I did test it an it appeared to work fine but i wanted to make sure it was made to work. Also, that's exactly where i looked for the height but it wasn't there it was in a groups.yml folder for some reason and thats odd because you would think the default would be 256. New question does anyone know where i can find the permission nodes for this plugin? I think i will just experiment until i figure out what gives me access to what but, it would REALLY be helpful to have a page with the nodes on it. Thanks kolorafa :)

1 - Residence v2.6.6.6 should be for the latest 1.7 bukkit - i don't use so i don't know, why not just test it? :)
2. Because in config.yml you have a height limit for that world, so player can only create a residence from example 30 to 90, and you selecting from 0 to 255 - so change your world limits./res vert expands selectin from bedrock to sky where you can create res :)

Posted Jan 15, 2015Hi sorry for bugging everyone but, i have 2 very important questions I was hoping a writer of this plugin could answer but, if anyone else knew the answers that would be fantastic. Question #1 What version of bukkit is this made for http://ci.drtshock.net/job/Residence/71/ ? Also, is that version of Residence compatible with bukkit 1.7.9 RO.2? If not are any other downloads for this plugin that are compatible?
Question #2 When I select an area with a wooden axe and run /res select worldedit, then /res select vert, then /res create test, why does it say "You have exceeded your height limit of 255" everything in that sentence being red except for 255. I have looked over everything i know how to do i can't figure out how to change the limit to a higher number (256). Please help I think this would be a not only good but exceptional land management plugin for my server. The one they have on the main page is out of date but when i discovered there was updates available i was overjoyed. I have tried mychunk, landlord, factions, regionmanager, etc and none of them really do what this plugin... looks like it does. If only i could get a full piece of land claimed. Also i had the same error when i tried to claim a chunk (also sky to bedrock). I did manage to get some land claimed and it seemed to work alright. And, i really wish the Wiki was up and running!
