Residence
About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

Addons
- Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.
- ResExtras - Control snow, ice, animals, mobs, and more within a residence.
- Residence Fly - Controls flying within a residence. Leaving will cause a player to fall.
- Residence Signs - Easy buying/selling/renting with signs.
- ResTown - Controls which users can build outside of a residence.
- ResProtect - Protects animals via flags
- ResCreative - Grants creative on entering a residence.
- ResPerm - Adds additional permissions to a player on residence change.
- SimpleClansResidence - Integrates Residence and SimpleClans
- Flags - Apparently adds flags or something

Posted Oct 28, 2014I downloaded version 3 of residence and only op can use the hoe. I try with a common user and nothing happend,.. i try to find the permission to put in my PEX but cant find anything Can yoy help me please.
I downloaded that version because chestshop show me an error with residence 2 .

Define "used", you can't log every-time someone walk over the residence, it will kill your server :)
I would just check the "last login time" of player for the residence in database/files and that would be a nice and easy on server :)

I wanted to stop by and say I have recently become aware of all the turmoil currently happening with Bukkit. While I no longer maintain Residence, as the original author I would hate to see it go away forever. Therefore, depending on what happens with Bukkit, I may consider porting the mod to whatever other API becomes the next big thing (at the moment it looks like Sponge). I won't be able to put as much time into the mod as before, and so I will seek any help I can get when that time comes. I will try to keep an eye on what happens with Bukkit, and once the dust settles we will see where the mod goes. Many thanks to @TOOTHPlCK1for maintaining the mod for as long as he has. :)

Posted Sep 19, 2014Residence is no longer under free active development, if you wish to see features implemented or bugs fixed, you could either do them yourselfs or look into ways of incentive for me to do them, however I am no longer doing free development on bukkit related work anymore. The repository for Residence 3.0 and Residence 2.x will remain up, feel free to contribute to them if you so wish, I may or may not accept changes if they are submitted in such a way that all the work I must do is merge and they fit the feel of the project. If any of you wish to know the reasoning behind my decision, feel free to ask in #residence on irc.esper.net. Or just read my resignation letter on the Bukkit forums.
This will be my final response on this plugin page.

That's why DebBuilds are Devbuilds. They are for tests only. That also have been said it won't support old config and there will be an converter soon when the offical 3.0 is relased. However there are still questions about the development of the plugin since bukkit has "issues" and Toothpick was a member of the bukkit team too.

Posted Sep 6, 2014Found a bug! When you have a sighn with text and someone place a head (SKULL_ITEM) over it - text completly vanishes! Please fix it!
LWC fix that bug but still... And can you finally make fire undestroyable?
