VariableTriggers
Make your own plugin like features and more using VariableTriggers
This is a very powerful plugin that has unlimited potential. Create triggers that run lines of script when a player Clicks or Walks on a block (dirt, door, switch, trigger, torch, any block) or Create Event Triggers such as PlayerDeath , EntityDeath, BlockBreak, BlockPlaced, Join, Quit, Respawn, Interact and EntitySpawn that also run scripts. You can define Area Triggers and Command Triggers as well. You can use Dynamic Object variables and conditional IF and ELSE statements in the scripts. You can run any command that a player or OP can run and many speacial built-in commands to Teleport, Spawn Entities, Play Effects Visual or Sound, Set Blocks, Toggle Blocks, Check Players Heath and much more!. The scripts are executed on their own threads to take the strain off of the main server thread.
How do I disable the auto saving of VT?
how do i get it to execute a command after someone walks 1000 blocks
I am Korean. Can you tell me the location of the file where you can set up AdvancedMode?
In reply to bass90301TV:
AdvancedMode: True
to your config.yml
I am Korean. Does version 2.0.6 support 1.12.2? Apply, but the command is not executed

Be part of fresh new and active script-engine plugin: TriggerReactor
We've already ported a lot of Commands and Placeholders similar to VT
Come and be part of active plugin development!
This is clearly one of the most powerful plugins ever seen on a Minecraft server, especially if you like to roll your own scripting-wise. Just wish the documentation was a bit more coherent. It is, in places, but the whole thing is a bit of a jumble that adds so much work to a newcomer's efforts to get a grasp. Just saying.
A request... what is the highest MC version VT is compatible with?
I'd PAY $ for this plugin if it was maintained and at least actively commented on by its dev.
How i can run script from console, i would like to call a script from BetonQuest but the script wont run and i have this message: [Server] INFO VT // /vt run is for players!
Okay, question can this plugin be able to hook into other plugin's variables;
For example Massive's Vampire plugin, if I wanted to call the variable; vampire.is.vampire, is that possible or not?

Is there any way to know the name of an entity(not player) when you hit it?
Also is there a way to use scoreboards as values?
I've used an older version of variabletriggers for quite some time, and have over 1000 walk triggers, when I updated, all of these triggers became useless because of 1 block change in y coordinate. It seems newer version of the plugin sets a block as 1 coordinate higher than in previous versions
for example, this was an old trigger, which no longer works, you have to jump up 1 block higher for it to trigger

Cooldown: 1
Script:
- '@CMD warp lounge'
this is what it needed to be changed to, to work properly:

Cooldown: 1
Script:
- '@CMD warp lounge'
Is there a way to fix this, or do you know of a way to quickly increase all the y coordinated by 1 somehow?
Thanks

I seem to be having script issues. Just installed VT after a couple years of being off MC. I want to add a /back command for a player's death. After having no luck storing the triggering player's location into a variable, I attempted to simply broadcast the player's location, again with no luck:
- ‘@BROADCAST <playerloc>’
Is that invalid or is VT buggy right now? Thanks!

CoolDown: 0
Script:
- '@TELL *YOURNAME* <playerloc>

Hey I'm having an issue with my <eval> hoping someone can provide insight. Im trying to simply get a variable to count up every time the trigger is run. If seen the syntax for variables 2 different ways in the documentation and can imagine a 3rd and I've tried all 3. Can someone let me know what im doing wrong?
- '@SETINT $scythe.soulenergy <eval:$scythe.soulenergy%+1>'
- '@SETINT $scythe.soulenergy <eval:%$scythe.soulenergy%+1>'
- '@SETINT $scythe.soulenergy <eval:$scythe.soulenergy+1>'
I have $scythe.soulenergy set to 1 currently and all 3 statements eval to 0.
My only complaint with the awesome plugin is the documentation seems really off. Sometimes its blatantly wrong, sometimes its just confusing, and its certainly not updated based off the change logs.
Otherwise I love it, thank you to the team who put it together.
EDITED: I tried to just have my eval do 1+1 and it still gives back 0. Starting to think I have some syntax error.
