What is MineQuest?
MineQuest is a customizable roleplaying plugin. It contains fully customizable abilities, classes, and quests. You can gain experience and level up to increase your abilities and use addons to MineQuest to create your custom experience. And best of all, MineQuest comes with instanced dungeons support built right into its Core. Oh, and Javascript support.

Quests:
Quests can range from simple gather missions, where the players must gather an amount of a resource, to massive dungeons and giant boss fights. This allows players to design and share their Quests with the masses. With help of our quest design helper, players can design Quests to create whatever they want.
Parties:
MineQuest also contains a party system. Any quester can create a party at any time, but they are only really used for entering Quests. When a quest is started MineQuest will attempt to bring an entire players party with them. A quester can create a party with the following command.

To Report an Issue or Problem:
Please open a thread on our website, at theminequest.com. Be sure to include:
- Which version of Minequest and Minequest add-ons are active.
- A brief but accurate description of the problem.
- A link to a server log pasted to either pastebin.com and pastie.com
- A list of plugins that are currently installed on the server.
This plugin is fantastic - keep up the good work.
@challeballeomfglawlplox
skills and experience are being broken into their own addons for minequest. Expect those to be added as separate plugins after we finish the main plugin.
Can't wait for this plugin to make its return! Keep up the good work, very, very excited! (Especially for the NPCs addon!)
i need help, i get the party thing to work but nothig else ;S like skills and exp;o
Yikes! Please grab 1.2.5-Milestone1_2 instead of 1.2.5-Milestone1 - This fixes a critical bug with main world quests in which your main world may be deleted.
We're into beta! Thanks for sticking with us through Alpha, and hang on as we navigate through these seas into RC territory!
EDIT: Psst. Check out localization.properties.
@Naterdoo
We already have alpha versions out. They still need some small changes before we can start calling them beta
I know this is a good plugin. I've used it before and I'm willing to wait for it to be updated. My server just wont be my server without it.
Milestone2 awaiting approval now.
EDIT: there's an NPE on Milestone2; latest dev builds should FIX that NPE.
@rushn_hobo
Npcs are being separated into its own jar file that will function as an add-on for Minequest. When it is complete you will be able to find that at this link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/minequest-npc
When will the npc's be added? (how long will it take)
Really love this
Please keep updating
@poke0901
Seems to be a problem with PatPeter's library. We'll get a fix for 1.2.3Milestone2.
Awesome thanks for updating this, love this plugin
Roadmap forward is now posted!
@squeezer2k Yeah we have already started thinking about that. We will probably add that in the beta of Minequest when we fully implement the reward system. We may also add a permission integration so that you can have the quest add in permissions for those users. Both will take a while to add so watch for them in the beta and the following updates.
@Echobob
running one ore more commands would be great! that would definitely work. thank you!
little suggestion: variables eg. for playername would be awesome. explanation: when writing commands such as /pex user USERNAME ... minequest should insert the questers name. hope you unserstand what i mean? eglish is not my mother tongue...
Yes we are working on a system that would allow the quest to run a command at the end of the quest so maybe you can use that to grant permissions. Would that work for you?
hey,
i have another question referring to the permissions thing. our idea is to offer a starter quest, which shall grant guests... a) permissions (eg. grading up one's permission group, guest -> member) b) to choose a faction (we are using faction. we plan to offer 2 factions from which they can choose one) will this both work with the overhaul?
@robxu9
thanks for the information. i'm excited.
