What is MineQuest?
MineQuest is a customizable roleplaying plugin. It contains fully customizable abilities, classes, and quests. You can gain experience and level up to increase your abilities and use addons to MineQuest to create your custom experience. And best of all, MineQuest comes with instanced dungeons support built right into its Core. Oh, and Javascript support.

Quests:
Quests can range from simple gather missions, where the players must gather an amount of a resource, to massive dungeons and giant boss fights. This allows players to design and share their Quests with the masses. With help of our quest design helper, players can design Quests to create whatever they want.
Parties:
MineQuest also contains a party system. Any quester can create a party at any time, but they are only really used for entering Quests. When a quest is started MineQuest will attempt to bring an entire players party with them. A quester can create a party with the following command.

We're not doing client side mods; if we do a GUI it will be through Spout. But that's slated for after the 1.2.5 GR.
I would love it if you guys did spout compatibility instead of a client side mod!
@fitzpatrick123
Nothing; make a sign that has:
and right click it.
that's what i'm talking about guys ;)
works fine thanks
so now i made my quest with the questhelper saved it as .quest and put it in the /plugins/minequest/quests folder but i can't accept in ingame and it doesn't appear in the available quest list

@fitzpatrick123
I think I know what is wrong. I will be pushing a fix to this problem later today.
@fitzpatrick123
Please post error messages through pastebin.com. It's much easier to read that way. Thank you.
ok now i run my server once after i put the minequest.jar in plugins folder now this is what i got:

i tried the one for bukkit 1.2.4 and i works just fine but only the /quest and /party command works - all other commands just get me a unknown command error in minecraft
and whats that about resource_classes.properties, combat_classes.properties, use_items.properties and abilities.jar can you give a simpel and non-confuse installation guide what i should do? the installation guide here just tells me how to setup a bukkit server - fine i knew that before...
@poke0901
The commands work fine. You should check your setup. You should only be using the Milestone builds not the dev builds. These are unstable and will have problems.
@poke0901
Minequest-Npc is in it's very early states. It will not be functional for a while. Currently party and quest are the only things that have been fully implemented and tested. We will have a separate dev page for those projects when they are functional.
Using the recommened some commands still dont work only party and quest, is that how its suppose to be?
@poke0901
You shouldn't be using dev builds. Especially not MineQuest-NPC or MineQuest-Events; those aren't finished yet!
So i downloaded Minequest, minequest-npc, and minequest-events. It seems none of the commands work. if i type in /char or /class nothing shows, not even something saying that is not a command. Please help
Ah okay, cool. Thanks for the responses :) Will keep an eye out for the NPC addon!
@apoisonedgift
No they will just be added as a separate plugin. For all client side additions it will be done through spout.
Ah okay... so the NPC addon will be client-side then? (judging by your wording in the response)
@apoisonedgift
Yes, we are creating a npc add-on for Minequest that players can install separately. This way the Minequest core can be lightweight and allow smaller servers to still use our system.
So... at the moment its all command based and that? No NPCs? Is that correct?
