What is MineQuest?
MineQuest is a customizable roleplaying plugin. It contains fully customizable abilities, classes, and quests. You can gain experience and level up to increase your abilities and use addons to MineQuest to create your custom experience. And best of all, MineQuest comes with instanced dungeons support built right into its Core. Oh, and Javascript support.

Quests:
Quests can range from simple gather missions, where the players must gather an amount of a resource, to massive dungeons and giant boss fights. This allows players to design and share their Quests with the masses. With help of our quest design helper, players can design Quests to create whatever they want.
Parties:
MineQuest also contains a party system. Any quester can create a party at any time, but they are only really used for entering Quests. When a quest is started MineQuest will attempt to bring an entire players party with them. A quester can create a party with the following command.

To Report an Issue or Problem:
Please open a thread on our website, at theminequest.com. Be sure to include:
- Which version of Minequest and Minequest add-ons are active.
- A brief but accurate description of the problem.
- A link to a server log pasted to either pastebin.com and pastie.com
- A list of plugins that are currently installed on the server.
@3LPlay
That's a little messy to read. Please try to post errors to http://pastebin.com/ and the just link it here. Can you tell me what the player was doing at the time of the error and what version of Minequest you are using. It is sometimes really hard to figure out what is wrong with just the error code.
I'm getting this error: 17:08:01 [SEVERE] Could not pass event PLAYER_MOVE to MineQuest java.lang.NullPointerException at org.monksanctum.MineQuest.Listener.MineQuestPlayerListener.onPlayerMo ve(MineQuestPlayerListener.java:93) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPluginLoader$7.execute(JavaPluginLoader.ja va:307) at org.bukkit.plugin.RegisteredListener.callEvent(RegisteredListener.jav a:58) at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.callEvent(SimplePluginManager.j ava:339) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:181) at lishid.orebfuscator.utils.NetServerHandlerProxy.a(NetServerHandlerPro xy.java:60) at net.minecraft.server.Packet10Flying.a(SourceFile:126) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.b(NetworkManager.java:226) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:92) at lishid.orebfuscator.utils.NetServerHandlerProxy.a(NetServerHandlerPro xy.java:44) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkListenThread.a(SourceFile:108) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.w(MinecraftServer.java:527) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:425) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:457)
@MerlenMage
We are working on making it Vault compatible. This will allow any ecomony plugin to work and any permission plugin too. At this time I am not aware of any conflicts with towny.
Ill have to try and run it again. When we tried to use parts of the plugin but not the whole thing we had a lot of issues.
Also, any plans on making this work with Heroes at all?
@anonymous000
You can. Minequest is made to be completely customized. You can turn on and off abilities, even write some of your own if you really wanted to. Play around with the abil_config file. This is the file that controls all the abilities on the server. Most other parts of Minequest can be controlled in the Minequest folder.
@regren
I'd also LOVE this function, the ability to turn parts of it on and off would make this ideal for my server :3
Hmm been wanting this for so long but could never get it to work before. I decided to look into it again but with how it looks from the comments and no real info on what it supports for other plugins such as PermissionsBukkit or iconomy6 or Towny and so on I'm kinda scared to add this to my server. :S Will be back later to test it on a test server.
Hi i keep getting this error; [INFO] [MineQuest] Unable to load quest file first.quest
i am using mac with text edit. I know it has something to do with saving the file. I use plain text. Idk whats wrong? its in the main server dir and its called 'first.quest' . Any tips?

Complete list of commands pulled out of the jar file.
Many don't work.
@regren
There are ways to do that. The ability parts are completely customizable and can be turned off by removing them from the ability config. Towns just protect npcs. It is better if it is left on.
This plugin has always been great. Would it be possible to make this plugin more modular? It would be nice to run the great instance, events, npc and reputation systems while being able to not have the town and ability parts running. I think this would give more options to servers.
@Falconloft
We are still working on getting the website back up. The current 0.7 build still has problems. Grab the .62 build and put it in your plugins folder and that should be it. It will download the rest of what you need.
Some sort of documentation for installation would be awesome for this. I'd love to try it and give you feedback, but atm I can't even get it to load up because there's no info on how to do so.
@VikeOden
The problem with not hitting mobs unarmed is a bug and it is being addressed. It will be part of the next update when bukkit releases.
The first bit of log is not an error. It's just minequest logging that it gave that player the proper spells and levels. Nothing to be worried about.
The second part seems to be a problem with a minequest command. I would have to recreate the problem to figure out what exactly is causing it. Try to see what you are doing when that error happens.
The third is just a problem with the code. I have already located that problem and fixed it. It will be part of the next update after bukkit's release. You can also turn off the monster death log in the settings found in the minequest folder. You will still receive the error but there will be less stuff being spammed in your log.
Thank you! Now that fixes one problem...
I have no error log for this one but I have experienced it as well as my players. We cant seem to hit creatures while unarmed. Is this intentional or a bug?
Now for the server error stuff.
This happens when new players come on the server:

Awaiting your quick reply, thanks for your previous! help ^.^
Found this command list this morning.
http://www.thumbprintpro.com/MQCommandSheet.pdf
Also what permission systems are supported?
Is there a list of commands anywhere? All that I can find points to the site that is down atm.
Trying out the .62 currently.
permissions?
commands?
@VikeOden
It appears that you are missing the files Minequest requires to run correctly. I added a download for those files. These files are put into a fold in the main directory of the server. Not in the plugins folder. Please add those files and it should run.
