Also, any chance we can get GriefPrevention Support?
We have a closed economy on our server. This means that staff don't spawn any money and there are no admin shops. Well how do we get income? Through players paying for stuff! Eg. server taxes and in this case, catching mobs :D
Can this please be added soon if it's easy? I've been waiting to use this for a month or so and been holding off for the server account.
@krisdestruction
Hey sorry about that, I didn't see it until now :(. Yes that could probably be done very easily. But what do you need it for? :S
I am totally ignored on this one :(

Great plugin, perfect! Using it on my main server.
small issue ... If you enable itemcost and Vaultcost then it will remove money from your wallet if you not have the item in your inventory ... it says that it removed the money and it also says you not have the needed item
so you lose money but not get the mob
Hey can you take a look at this ticket? This should be a small feature request and I'm sure others will find it useful. I'll be adding this plugin after we get this feature!

@Serilum Thanks for reporting this. Fixed in v1.21.1 which is waiting for bukkits approval.
Does not seem to save the config file in the latest version :l - It overwrites the config every time the plugin is loaded
@Serilum
It's already updated, it's just waiting for approval by bukkit :)
Thanks for the plugin, looking forward to your 1.4.2 release!
In addition to Grief Prevention, can you make it not working inside a catacomb. Catacombs is a very popular dungeon plugin that uses a protected area to set up a dungeon, however this plugin allows players to capture all the mobs inside, making the dungeon too easy.
Here's the plugin: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/catacombs/
Thanks.
Okay, thanks for the quick response. I appreciate it. I look forward to the update.
@mspaulding86
Something must have changed, it used to work with GriefPrevention. I'll try and fix it in the next version for craftbukkit 1.4.
Can you make this compatible with http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/grief-prevention/Grief Prevention (GRIEF PREVENTION).
Currently, even if an animal is protected by another plugin, your plugin supercedes those protections and turns the animal into an egg.
Thanks for your time,
Mike
@LHammonds
Thanks.
Yes I can also confirm that 1.19 works with 1.3.2. The downloads page has been updated to reflect this.
Thanks for creating and sharing this plugin.
I have verified that Egg Catcher 1.19 works without problem on CraftBukkit 1.3.2-R0.1 with Windows 7 64-bit and Ubuntu Server 12.04 64-bit on Java 1.7u7 64-bit. Was also using bPermissions 2.9.23

Hi, is it possible catch dog into wolf egg? In config is PreventCatchingTamedAnimals: false, but dogs are impossible to catch.
@damnnicholas
Awesome video :D Actually you can enable the catching of baby animals in the config files. It's disabled per default as it allows you to catch a baby animal and spawn it as an adult. I do not want to change the way the spawner eggs work to fix this as this can break compatibility with shop/trading plugins. So instead I kept it simple on purpose and just disallowed it.
Same kinda problem you discovered with the slimes. It would probably be possible to fix this the same way as it is done with baby animals.
Hey, i made a little video showcase on this plugin :) Hope you'll like it!
