Reference Guide/Variables
Variables
The following variables can be used in any line of a CommandSign. Just insert the variable into any part of a line, and it will be substituted with the appropriate values when the sign is run.
<x> - Player's x coordinate <y> - Player's y coordinate <z> - Player's z coordinate <blockx> - CommandSign's x coordinate <blocky> - CommandSign's y coordinate <blockz> - CommandSign's z coordinate <world> - Player's current world <name> - Player's user name <randomname> - The name of a random player on the server <near> - Name of the nearest player to CommandSign <display> - Player's display name <money> - Player's current money balance <formatted> - Player's current money balance formatted. (Ex. "10.00 dollars") <ip> - Player's IP address
Want more variables? Please write a ticket saying what you want and what the variable should be called. (I really just need the ideas. Adding them is easy).
Something like @a for commandblocks. (Not all commands run with commandblock for some reason and you can neatly bypass that with commandsigns. I just need it for all players on the server)
Can you add a way to show the top voter. Idk if its possible but thx. We use votifier.
@Mr_Darn
I have to agree with Mr_Darn, a <item> variable would be nice. Could help with making quest signs.
Even perhaps a $<item><quantity> instead of a economy plugin value.
This plugin helped my server so much, thank you CJxD IP: saved.no-ip.org:25882 test it here
I don't need it directly, but what about players yaw and pitch? For example for security scanners e.g. stand on this and look at this
How about command block variables @a[and some tags] e.g. i want a playsound command to be heard by @a[r=8], can i make this using the above variables?
Another thing: when i type the variable <near> and execute my playsound command, it says "Can't find player prisoner". Why is this happening to me?
How about that you add a variable of <server> that the server can run a command for the player. Like if the player dont have permission to the command that on the sign, So the server can run the command for the player
