Health Changes
Health Changes
Health no longer regenerates from having an almost full hunger bar, health can only be regained with golden apples and health potions.
Does not use the gamerule for stopping regeneration to allow for permission based regeneration
Playerlist shows players health level using scoreboards, player health also shown under their name ingame.
Vanilla 0 health bug fixed
Red name for low health
Yellow name for middle health
Green name for high health
Blue name for players with non player list health permissions

Golden apple recipe is now the default recipe in Minecraft!
Notch apple recipe disabled by default and ghast tears do not drop (stops regeneration potions)
Harder recipe for glistering melon and golden carrot
Brewing of splash potions and tier 2 potions disabled by default
Can craft a golden head that heals for 4 hearts instead of the usual 2 hearts for a golden apple, amount regen configurable

Players drop their head on death, PvP only flag available. Tries to place the head in the world on a fence but will drop as an item if it can't

Starting a message with 'P ' will make your chat anonymous to everyone on the server that doesn't have permission to see names (default op)

To opt out of metrics you can edit the config.yml file in the PluginMetrics folder inside your plugins folder

There is a bug with setting the playerlist to false in the current version, put it to true and then do '/feature toggle PlayerList' in game to turn it off and it *should* work

Do you have other plugins that could be doing it like multiverse? I don't do anything with inventories on death so I have no idea with that one

Do you have the PvP flag on in the config file? If it's not on then they drop with every death, if it's on it's supposed to be only on PvP kills but in the current version is pretty buggy and probably does the opposite xD
Hey ghowden - are you aware of anyone not getting the head drop from a PvP kill? It was in a cave, everything else dropped, and heads dropped later in the same match (no server restart or anything) ... settings were right, I thought. Just ... from all indications, the kill didn't drop a head that one time?
The obvious answer is we missed it. I don't think we did, and we've got three perspectives of video of the kill, and two perspectives of afterwards, as well ...
I know it sounds very unlikely, just figured I'd ask. :)

But basically whenever I put my PlayerListHealth to false it also changes it so I can regen. I just don't want it to list it on scoreboards because I want my list to be my death count. Help?

You probably have the game rule that keeps inventories on, try turning that off and see if it helps

I had a version available within 5 hours or so of the first dev version, but there were bugs stopping it. Until version #2797 (and #2802 I think) max health values and things relating were broken. I wanted to do things with the absorption effect with golden apples and there were major bugs with buffs/effects until version #2803 which made it not work correctly at all (and other side effects) and absorption only recognized as an actual potion effect as of #2808. I'm currently writing death bans into the plugin and then I'll release a 1.6 version as the parts of the API I use now seem stable enough
TLDR; For plugins there is normally a little bit of time for the API to be stable enough to use, release after death bans is wrote
@TehCrazyGR I did not search a long time but in my opinion, no such plugin exist. Try to create a request. Bukkit has a request forum section. A lot of uninspired devs will like to take your request if you explain enough and they feel a sufficient need for it.
Usually, bans are bans. There a re few temp bans plugins out there. like mentionned in the comments, HardcoreDeathBan and SimpleDeathBan. I personnaly use HardcoreDeathBan. What I try to say is that usually normal bans are meant to prevent players from rejoining the server like a punishment. We do not want to reward people usually right? Even those two plugins does not support such reward giving mechanics.
I guess you can also post a request ticket over to those projects. Seriously, it's not a bad idea. You could also ask for potion effect. I was thinking of invulnerability. Why? well you know in certain games, when you die and respawn, you oftenly get invulnerable. You flash or glow to let you know you have this effect. Most of those games are race games though.

Ok but there was dev builds already at this time, already 15 of them has been released. Bukkit usually get's a version out in the few hours after minecraft updates itself. Usually, when there are not much or no features added and most of the minecraft update is bugfix, Bukkit releases a little quicker but those builds are for obvious reason more stable. I am not writing this as if I thought you did not know that already. Don't think I take you for a fool. At the opposite, I think you are a smart ass. I am only writing this to push your release to now. I think you can release your new version now what do you think?

Does anyone know a way to respawn in mainworld on death in certain worlds or all worlds?
Edit: Never mind, I found for myself. Multiverse has an option for it in the worlds.yml

I use the plugin HardcoreDeathban for banning players on death, not sure what you mean about kits

Don't know what you mean about 20 slots, do you mean server player cap? I don't touch that, that'll be done via you server hoster

To ban someone when he dies, try another plugin, Im using SimpleDeathsBans because is fully configurable ^^
Someone can say me how can I change the 20Slots that the plugins sets?
