War - Minecraft PVP Arenas (TDM, CTF & more!)

War lets you create warzones, arenas that host team deathmatch and capture-the-flag battles.
Features:
As a player, you get a fast-paced PVP experience in SMP.
- Join a battle by entering through the warzone lobby. There is one gate per team (team diamond, gold or iron): step in to join that team.
- Your inventory is saved when you join a battle, and restored when you exit.
- When you die inside a warzone, you get instantly teleported back to your spawn, and one life is taken from your team's life pool. When that pool runs out, the other teams score a point!
- Steal the enemy team flag to score for your team.
- Fight over monuments, control points that, when captured, restore health to your teammates.
- Return the cake home to score a point for your team and refill your life pool.
- Capture the bomb and run for your enemy's spawn to blow it up. Careful! If you get attacked at close range you'll blow up.
As a warzone maker, you have total control.
- Take advantage cool landscape features or existing player-build structures and incorporate them in new warzones.
- Tons of options: friendly-fire, auto-assign, turn off PVP outside warzones, define respawn loadouts specific to each zone, and more!
War lets you keep mayhem contained in the warzones.
- All the blocks in a zone are reset at the end of every battle.
- Players are prevented from entering or leaving a zone - except through the designated warzone lobby - by a magic glass wall.
- A warhub can be created to link all your zones together.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.
These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

This plugin uses Metrics to gather data. If you would like to opt-out, you may do so by editing plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It sends the information on this page to Hidendra's servers.
Keeping stats enabled allows the War team to find which features of War are most enjoyed by players so we can focus on improving certain areas of the plugin to make the experience of playing War the best it can be.

Hello, in my war zone, the players can't drop item. And in my config no-drops in on false ! Can you help me ?

I have 2 arenas one is real small the other too large. It covers and entire village and extends all the way to bedrock. I don't know what skulls are except for the MC/Essentials skull command for putting mobs and players heads on things and actually I did have a scorboard running with swornguard but I have since removed it.
It would be really nice to have all the arena data loaded with the MySql database (if that is even possible) that would speed up the Arena build and not utilize server resources.
All my player data is stored locally with the use of Alwaysonline Bungee plugin so its not fetching Mojang updtes if that is what you are saying with the skull thing.

Any specifics of your area? Do you use any/many skulls or have lots of warzones active at the same time? Do you use the scoreboard support?

Just takes forever to rebuild the arena. Use to not do that and sometimes kicks players. Maybe I made my Arena too big but I'll just wait on the update if there is one.

That was an idea we had. The assumption was that zone creation would be done a lot less then resetting, so it was postponed. We can still add this if it is greatly desired.

Yes it is possible. Use the syntax "/zonecfg loadout:NAME:PERMISSION" when creating it, where NAME is the name of the loadout and PERMISSION is any permission that is required for using the loadout.

The database is currently used only for statistics, and will be populated with that data only if statistics is enabled.

This is not an error, do not worry. No server performance is being impacted.

Do you know of anything specifically that is causing lag? The plugin should work with the new version fine already.

I'm fixn to disable it to cause of server lag and hang a sign up saying awaiting update. I'll keep coming back to check for update.

Do you guys think you can add a feature that lets customize messages in a file named messages.yml
Is it possible to get loadouts per permission, like if you have the permission war.loadout.vip you will be able to get the loadout vip (by shifting at the spawn). Otherwise if you do not have the permission it will skip the loadout. If it is not possible it could be a nice suggestion. :)

Is it a possibility for a player to join with his inventory, not a kit? Also can a winning team get something for winning, and the lousing get something else? If it is possible please tell me, if not that would be a great feature!
Details: This is just to help get a better understanding of what I'm saying. Im running a server that aims to replicate Call of Duty. The players spawn with a starting weapon in "hub". The hub consists on a market were players can buy new weapons. I use War for my arenas and the players should be able to join the game with the items they had in the hub, but when the game ends or they leave there inventory is reset to what they joined with (same thing when they die). If they were on the winning team they would get a prize, they would sell that prize at the market for money, and if they lost they would get a different prize which they could sell for a different amount.
