VariableTriggers
Make your own plugin like features and more using VariableTriggers
This is a very powerful plugin that has unlimited potential. Create triggers that run lines of script when a player Clicks or Walks on a block (dirt, door, switch, trigger, torch, any block) or Create Event Triggers such as PlayerDeath , EntityDeath, BlockBreak, BlockPlaced, Join, Quit, Respawn, Interact and EntitySpawn that also run scripts. You can define Area Triggers and Command Triggers as well. You can use Dynamic Object variables and conditional IF and ELSE statements in the scripts. You can run any command that a player or OP can run and many speacial built-in commands to Teleport, Spawn Entities, Play Effects Visual or Sound, Set Blocks, Toggle Blocks, Check Players Heath and much more!. The scripts are executed on their own threads to take the strain off of the main server thread.
This bug is killing me... Every time I make a change in my Eventriggers.yml that relates to my InventoryTriggers.yml I randomly get this bug and my Inventory event scripts stop working. The error below appears every time I try to click on an item in the custom Inventory.
I converted from 1.3.3.1 to 2.0 and am having a few issues.
First off none of my custom commands work anymore. This what the file looks like preconversion.
Is there anything I can do get this to convert right or manually fix it to compatible with 2.0+ because the automatic conversion is not working.
Hey all, i have a problem creating a new trigger: when i try to create a new one the plugin is not saying anything (Click the block etc.) and if i click a block with a bone after the command it doesn't do anything. I hope you can help me
@KyadCK
YES ,my script is @CMDOP..but it will make player as an op. here is my script https://github.com/lyokofirelyte/VariableTriggers/issues/2
Hi, I installed your plugin on my server but I can't make it work, I write ''/vtcwalk @CMD spawn'' but it doesn't even makes a message saying I edited it alright, and it's probably my faulth, but I'm seeing tutorials and they all do the same, could you please help me?
@KyadCK
I tried something like this:
@SET $last.open <playername>
and in the menu:
@IF $<var:$last.open>.something > 0
but its not working. I have no idea how to make it.
I need it for shop like when you buy update from 1 item it goes to another with permission show system, but when I can't choose the playername to see his permissions its not possible.
@Zeal_BG
Turn your placeholder into a variable before calling the inv, then call the variable from the inv.
@AriKira
Simple solution: Do not make them OP, making them OP is stupid. Use @CMDOP if you need them to run a command they do not normally have access to.
@Lyoko_Firelyte
When they get op and has run the script completed. Have a chance not to deop them.
Other thing is that I can't use the <playername> placeholder in inventories. I need it for per player updates and shop stuffs... Make it to use the player who open the inventory's info.
@Lyoko_Firelyte
thst would be great if we could get a older version i allways loved it.
When I stop the server sometimes they got saved, sometimes they don't. I tried to /vt sv before I stop the server but it doesnt work every time. I use the variables for important things and thats a problem for me.
@Lyoko_Firelyte
It add customizable Timers by modifying its config. Every Timer needs a custom interval and a custom list of worlds to run script in, also a valid script to call. We developed this plugin just because 1 min interval Timer of VT1 is not very practical, but it seems that VT2 doesn't need it any more. :(
@AriKira
What is happening in the issue specifically? Is someone gaining OP when they should not be when they run your script?
@sheriff1999
I may be uploading a copy of the old version that's been slightly updated if I have time - sorry to hear you don't like the new format!
@RaycusMX What does it do? If it's simple I could add it to the next release.
Personal ever since they update it makeing it "easyer" and i use the term lossly i have had nothing but problem with it for example i tryd to do this command and it has never worked in any of the 2.0 versions vtc add @CMDOP npc create <playername> and it never work not to metion the fact now if you want to toggle a block you need to get its cordenits please please please go back to the old format.
Hello, I'm a fan of VT and I just developed a plugin with my friend to extend the Timer function of VT1, would you mind if I release it? or you could release it for us?
I have post an issue here: https://github.com/lyokofirelyte/VariableTriggers/issues/2
I have made a patched build for the old Legacy 1.3.3.1 version, with alot of technical and performance improvements for people still using the old builds due to issues with the new version, maybe Lyoko uploads it here. Otherwise his version is much better performance and code wise, so lets hope he fixes the current compatibility issues many users have.
@AriKira
Try downgrade to v1.3.3.1. It helped me.
VT area does not work.
@disciple218
Looks like you're using two different variables, try...
