I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

It is difficult to say anything as I do not see it. you can post some screenshots?
@Qx2 whooooops I built an airship not a ship ( I wrote the wrong thing in the other comment ) and all the signs are on one platform then the platform is connected to the ship ship so all the signs are are connected I checked a couple of times

Your problem is very simple. You have a poorly built boat. Some blocks are not added to the ship and shows a collision. Read the description section "Construction"
i found a problem that make it nearly imposable to move the ship. i created the ship properly (everything touching), a lot of wool, 200 fuel (2 cauldrons), every sign but when is use the wheel it says Obstacle on course, when i use the EOT it doesn't move, but when i use the [engine] sign it moves the ship ( in any direction i want ) and so does the [burner] sign

so please made a good work with the cannon and i have a bug: when i move the ship the content of the chest disappier!

Certainly not this month. I have something else to do.
When is 2.1 coming out? I am eager to get it. Also, it would be nice to have a sort of "airplane" type of craft that does not require a fire but does need fuel. I like building helicopter and plane style ships, but usually due to the small dimensions of these crafts it is difficult to include a fire without burning myself to death or burning the craft up.

Why when I place the [ships] sign it says "You do not have permission to do that"
it would be very nice if the block IDs for building the ship were configurable. movecraft has this.

I will add in 2.1. I wrote that this plugin will not work with my Ships. The 2.1 is planning to add my own cannons. This will solve your problems.

hey please make the buttons move with the ship, so i can use cannons(other plugin)

Sign "burner" is only to drive up / down. You must have a fire on board. Use Netherrack (just be careful because you can easily burn the ship)
Hi! I`ve installed ships on my server and when I try to start my airship it says: "The airship has no burner" I have a burner sign, fuel tank, a main sign, wheel sign and an EOT sign.
Can u help me?
My problem was not permissions related. I was making the [ships] sign wrong! Your new video showed me what I was doing wrong.

I have decided to ditch (AKA self destruct with TNT) the problematic ship, and use a different one.
