I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

From version 3.x instead of fuel tanks are furnaces. Do not be influenced by movies. They were recorded a long time ago.
I came back, the problems with the rules.
Hello there, there is a bit of a glitch with this newest version that the player moves forward a block further then the ship, which results in me slamming my face into the steering wheel. Please fix this bug. Thank you! :)
Hi,
We use this plugin on my server, and we love it. However, recently, the fuel sign doesn't work. We've tried debugging it by removing all other plugins besides it, and it just wont work. We've followed the instructions and tutorials carefully, but they just wont stick to the cauldrons and behave like a proper fuel sign should work. anyone know what's wrong, and how to fix this?

simply
EOT = airshipspeed
EOT2 = airshipspeed+20
EOT3 = airshipspeed +60

Sign does not block the vessel for any user. Maybe one day I will do to make it work, but for the moment I have other things to do.
Is there a possibility of adding instruments to the ship, such as signs that display the direction, altitude, and coordinates of the ship?
hi, me again. i have had a small problem on all of your ships plugins, the simple matter of the owner line 1 and 2 don't lock the ship to those players.
so anyone can drive of with someones ship/ airship could you please fix this, or tell me how to fix it thx again

Use version 3.0 beta. It is now version 3.1 but has not been approved. (I do not know why) I'm fighting with the administration of authorizations this version.

did you put coal in the furnace? (in the bottom slot) it doesnt need a sign and just needs to be reasonably close to the rest of the signs. (10 blocks or so)

I really love this plugin. But there is one thing I really want in it. Could you please make it so it can move mobs when they are in the ship as well as people?

I agree with the support to specify blocks. i desperately want to remove iron bars, its annoying when you click a navigational beacon (radiobeacons) and either get stuck or fly off with the whole radio array lol.

Jungle wood prevents the inflammation to be able to build elements of the ship that will not burn when something goes wrong.
Chests are supported in version 3.x
Hello, its me again
well, I like the Idea of forbidding buggy blocks, but still there should be some kind of configuration file where you could specify wich blocks can be used for crafts. Its because on my Server I need some fireproof stuff to prevent the ship from getting flamed before it can start. The Jungle wood always deletes the fire...
And...just by the way...please add some inventory support to carry dispensers or chests without deleting their interior.

Using the furnace as the fuel source is interesting and I like that you can smelt while the ship is in motion. The only problem... small problem I see is that the fuel amount is limited to 64 coal per furnace. I could put 100 coal per cauldron before and I sort of like seeing the fuel level count down on a sign. Small issues but not bad. Will the release version have support for the new block types in 1.5 ? We need to support this project...the author's time isn't free. Thanks for your hard work!
