I am testing this new page out. I am aware of some parts that are missing such as ship types, but please say if there is anything that you wish to see. I plan on making a FAQ's that includes common questions such as how to change ship requirements.

Ships 6 changes
Ships has gone through many changes, Ships 6 is the latest rewrite of the plugin. The latest rewrite fixes multiple bugs found in the root of previous versions of Ships.
Features
Moving ships
As the name of the plugin suggests, you can create your own ship and move it with just a single click.
Works with all blocks
There is a fully-fledged list where you can configure every block to react differently for the ships, including being able to add a block type to interact with Ships, detect it as a collide, and even not react at all.
Teleport to ships
There have been many requests to be able to teleport to ships for not only this plugin but others like it. This feature has been added to Ships, however, if it is something you do not wish, then you can disable to command by not adding the command.
Falling Ships
Ships will fall/sink if requirements are not met, this could be done through your own interaction such as running out of fuel, or by something else such as a TNT explosion.

In Ships, movement is done by signs. You can see all signs here
Collide types:
Name | ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Detect collide | DETECT_COLLIDE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the ship will not move with the error of this block being in the way |
Material | MATERIAL | Material means that you can build a ship out of this block and the Ships block detection system will detect it as part of your ship |
Ignore | IGNORE | If Ships detects this block in the way of a ship moving then the block will break and the ship will take its place |

awsome plugin, but could you please add the moving of all enteties being one the craft? because I want to transport creatures...and they just fall of... maby you could update the entety-positions after the craft has been moved.

thanks i got it working, anyway i cn make the ship less jumpy?... seems to glitch and make people fall off

you still need netherrack on fire. If you use craftbook just place netherrack and put a switch infront of it.

still doesnt seem to be working.. i put the furnace down and coal in and have a sign for the burner but it says i dont have a burner?
Edit: i realise i needed netherrack fora burner, how can i make it fly smoother?
furnaces and boilers work I'm from Venezuela plugins help with everything else it grabs least conbustible and eot help!!

just put a furnace down and put coal in it, no signs or cauldrons.

ok, first Q said there are 'test' ads in this BETA version. He wants to test it in the field so to speak. hence it says test ad. secondly, you should have been able to deduce all this from the line of text its self seeing as you downloaded something with beta in its name.

... exactly the same as every other plugin dev on bukkit does?...
i cant seem to get fuel sign to work i write [fuel] on a sign infront of the cauldron nothing happens, pls help

Then lol fail. There are no ads. It just says <inset sample ad here> every once in a while.

They appear once ever 30000 ticks, which is (30000 / 20) = 1500 seconds, which is (1500 / 60) = 25 minutes.
In summary, a banner will be broadcast once every 25 minutes currently.

yes, so we could have 3 or 4 differant speed EOT.
eg: EOT1 10 blocks per 10 sec
EOT2 20 blocks per 10 sec
EOT3 50 blocks per 10 sec
by the way, why EOT as the sign name? is that an airship term?

That sounds good. But personally over any other feature you could add, the ability to configure several EOT signs would be the the one. As far as I can see (although I dont code java) you would need a function to set up a sign, and one to handle the moving text and initate moving. it shouldnt be a huge issue to add an extra few lines into each so we could define and use like [EOT1] [EOT2] etc
Thats the one feature that would do it for me.

So far these versions differ only in advertising.
I'm thinking that in the future a version without ads add some administrative tools.
