Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

if I use ice boots in small water, it makes server crash
Where just I use it, also it makes crash
@zoomafou Simpler times!
@Hodong We'll look at the ice-boots crash. What is "Irce"?
I remeber this plugin... waaaaay back from the hmod days...
ice boots rune makes server crash
Does runecraft has irce? if not, why don't they make one?
@Hodong
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The blocks that are "Tier" blocks can be anything, so long as they're not the same as "Signature" blocks.
If a rune requires Redstone as part of it's design, then you can't change it out for something else. But if you're just using redstone as the Tier block, yes you can change it.
Can't I cange redstone in runecraft to another block?
@Sadorhael
Not at the moment, though maybe with the rewrite for 3.0 (some point in the future) we could make the system flexible enough to do that :)
Is there a way for admins to create their own runes? If not; Will there ever be? Like a list of effects to pick from, and then a way to make the patterns for the runes (and deciding what materials to use). How about making it possible to configure through a text file?
@Hodong
I've never seen that crash occur before, can you make a ticket describing what happens immediately before a crash?
any [Runecraft] messages from the server.log could help shed light on things too.

@Ctri
thanks
@Hodong
Make sure you're searching for it in the root server folder, not the bukkit plugins folder!
@Ctri
well we have installed newest version of plugin buy there were no disabled.txt (we have run it too)
we are searching what we did before installing plugins
@Hodong
The file "disabled-runes.txt" is the one you want, and yes, you can block runes with it! Just put in the rune name you want blocked into the file, and it'll block it for you.
@Hodong
I have never seen such an error before! Can you PM me with what you were doing before that happened?
Dosn't 'runes.txt' filed automaticly creates on it's own? Can we block one of the runes with runes.txt?
what is error ? http://pastebin.com/aQPEre1V
Left you a million tickets, ctri-san. :3
@Favorlock
The very same! This is the plugin that SuperLlama began a couple of years back. There are a variety of personal matters keeping Llama doing solid coding these days, but he's still kept in the loop, as we don't want to lose the original feel of RC.
I'll add links to the forum thread, and Llama's website for clarity
@Zephedge
Is this the same rune plugin that had a vertical spiral stair drill rune?
@Favorlock
Runecraft's forum page has been the same for two and a half years. Its still generally the Runecraft in the fact that its the same source code, but a few new members seem to have taken over its development.
