Runecraft
Runecraft is a gameplay modification for SMP, that adds magic to the game without any commands. Runecraft is the longest running Minecraft mod, dating back to the Alpha days. Runecraft boasts over 120 runes and is still under active development. Everything you need in one, immersive, magic plugin.
Magic is done through the form of "runes", significant shapes of materials laid out in the actual game world. These runes can create unique short-term tool enchants, teleporters, hidden walls/passageways, and even the ability to create mobile teleporting bases.
- Player built simple Teleporters that use unique combinations of blocks to identify destinations
- Specific enchantments for dealing with natural hazards (lava, floods, falling gravel)
- Magic blocks that flip between two blocks when you activate them, or reveal secret passages
- Redstone compatibility: allowing runes to be activated by redstone signals
- Multi-world support: all features are completely compatible with multiple-world servers
- Commandless setup: Runecraft is designed for minimum hassle in configuring it. plugin and go!
- Easy configuration: it's simple to disable a rune entirely, or a rune per person.
- Optional permissions compatibility
- Requires no client modification
Runecraft prides itself on its immersive nature, with no need for any slash commands. Everything can be done in-game by players, constructing the runes to create the effects they're looking for. Runecraft is an extremely popular addon for roleplay, PVP, and small servers because of it's out of the box ability to just be installed and start running, and covering a variety of pseudo-administrative and gameplay mechanics from an entirely in game point of view.

You can use Toggle Blocks to get the same effect. They just require a piston rather than iron ore.

The wiki went down due to a fire and subsequent flooding (due to the fire department using water instead of dry chem) at the hosting site.
Lvletei has recieved word from the hosting company that the server hardware is not repairable and that it's been essentially tossed out into the Void that is the insurance claim bin. The backups that Lvletei had are corrupted and we have to start fresh and new with our wiki, his business, the Minecraft servers, and the GitLab. We do apologize for the troubles this brings.
Lvletei has been working on getting the wiki back from scratch. We hope to get it up as soon as possible now that we have a full understanding of what has occurred. We have the code available to us and we have the ability to toss it back into GitLab with no loss of previous pushes of the code. Lvletei thinks he lost a few of his own projects however. We are working on this as best as we can and we thank you for your understanding as to what has occurred.
We apologize and thank you for your support and understanding in what has happened. We hate that this has happened and are extremely disappointed at the company for its unprofessionalism.

Posted Jul 19, 2020The Bow of translocation is not working on version 1.16.1. I never needed to use the permission for using it, as im OP, but even with the permission set it won't work. I suppose something changed on this version, because other arrow plugins like Lorinthscraftarrows are not working either.
Edit: I was using spectral arrows, with normal arrows works fine!

Posted May 3, 2019When I try to teleport, it doesn't let me. I click the teleporter, and it says in chat "You cannot teleport". All other runes that I've tried have worked fine. I'm an op on the server and have every permission, so I know it can't be that. Any ideas?

I apologize, I did not get a notification for this at all. The only thing I can think of is that you're missing a permission node for runecraft.runes.teleport
That's the only way you get that message in fact. Try manually adding it.

Posted Feb 13, 2019Never have I seen a community as great as you all. Every single one of you are the reason we continue to do what we do. What you guys provide is more than you realize.
Right now, we are working on the 4.0 project for Runecraft. Unless something goes horribly wrong, 3.1.2 should be good for a few patches (hopefully 4.0 doesn't take THAT long). Nevertheless, we hope that you all will be patient with us. Even though we'll still listen to ideas after 3.1.2 releases, we will no longer be accepting any bug reports for the 3.x branch. Crazy as that is, we're going to focus our attentions onto the 4.x branch, hoping to get that out ASAP. Really and truly, please be patient with us and get in those final bugs!
