ReitzRPG is a upcoming RPG plugin that currently consists of a leveling system with various stats and abilities. Your world spawn is the monster level calculation base, so the more players explore the world the more dangerous the monsters become; The farther you get from the world spawn, the mobs get tougher by increasing their attack damage and health. Players can equip better gear as they level their stats, adding a sense of progression .

Current Features
- Applied my DistanceLevel plugin so the farther you are from the world spawn, the stronger enemies get
- Updating scoreboard with the current stats: Combat EXP, Defense, Attack, Woodcutting, Mining, Magic and Archery.
- Global weapon skill cool down system (only implemented on a few weapons at the moment)
- Per player config file containing stats and exp for mining / woodcutting , class was made by someone in the resource section. I will credit them when I find their name!
- Currently using LucasEmanuel's 0 Client tornado mod for the first magic spell
- Player ItemMenu using /rpg menu or /reitzrpg menu allows players to purchase stat upgrades with their combat exp
- Per player backpack: each player gets a backpack that gets saved to their config so they may safely store items. Purchase additional space using /reitzrpg menu
- Using Desle's Assassin ability resource to implement wall jumping
I#tem restriction usage [NOT BLOCK RESTRICTION]: currently the system is a static lvl 5 for the first tier, 10 for 2nd, 3rd is 15 and diamond is 20. If block break restrictions are in place, some users believe mining can be an annoyance.
- Currently Mining/Woodcutting/Fishing/Digging award exp on block break and level up automatically using the list of blocks that are effected by if you are wielding a pickaxe or an axe.

Commands

/rpg purchase [stats]
/rpg menu (The menu system has everything included in itself )
/rpg trade username (Must be within 10 blocks)
/rpg lock [version must be .03 or higher]
/rpg unlock [version must be .03 or higher]
/rpg setspawn (Sets the spawn of the world to the player's current position)
/rpg killmobs (Removes all mobs in the world; useful if you changed settings)
/rpg sethome (Sets the player's bed respawn at their current location)
How To Trade
- Type /rpg trade username
- The menu will say left or right side and have 3 spaces available put your items in that space and click the block to continue
- Remembering what side you were, click the trade accept button for your side after placing the items you want to trade
- Once the trade has been successful, check your inventory to verify the items have been removed/added accordingly
- To cancel the trade, close the inventory during the final trade menu
How To Use The Menu GUI To Level Up
- Type /rpg menu
- Click on one of the items that say level up [stat]
- If you have the exp it will level, otherwise it will return the amount needed

UUID Fetching from Mojang
This plugin uses URL connections to grab user UUID's via Mojang's web API.
Multi-Language Support
On version .14 or higher, right click the plugin file and open it. Go to com>paulreitz>reitzrpg> then open messages.properties. You
can change any of the messages here, and after saving the file changes will be reflected next time you start the plugin. This is the simplest way for me to make it so any language can be the default on your server or you can even tweak the words or names to what you want.
Loot Tables
On version .15 and higher the loot table system is now fully implemented. You can access it by going to where ReitzRPG is installed and going to loot_table.cfg.

I really like this plugin but i can't use it the magic spells are essentials a griefer tool for spawn and there is no way to disable it I also cant seem to find your mentioned "DistanceLevel plugin" on the op I would of very much liked to use that on its own perhaps with mcmmo until there is an option to remove spells, stop them from damaging blocks (tnt arrow i am looking at you) or at least integrate it with world guard protection.
Thanks for the plugin idea it was very fun to play and i do really love the ui interface for levelling up skills i do believe there should be a way to change the exp values of certain blocks and the mobs and maybe say if it is giving you extra stats to your skills and an option to display your level and bonuses. An option to turn off or hide the level tracker on the side of the screen or have it display for a few seconds after you level up and a command to display when you want to see it.

Thank you so much you are awesome also i want to disable the magic because i am using heroes plugin and customize the prizes. It would be good to create support for Heroes, for example when ReitzRPG finds Heroes magic will be disable automaticaly/

hey i gave me on all stats 100 and i find out that you can one hit nearly everything with the magic spell left-click you should nerv that
And how would it be with the region like with world guard or with the woodenaxe... and when does it come out
hey it would be nice that you mabye can run this plugin with citizens that npc what you create have lvls to so like bosses...

I'll get on that. edit: Config options are made it will rollout with my next update theres backpack-enabled true and trading-enabled: true in the config options. Also while I was in that section of code I did some optimizations so the plugin runs much better with the exp on block break stuff.

Ill have to look into it for compatibility. Sword Spin works by reversing momentum of approaching enemies in the vicinity. So its a great ability to use when your getting swarmed, it sends em flying.

Can you make it so i can disable parts of this plugin? i want to disable the backpacks and the trade system because i already have them. :( Also for quests i would recommend you to add support for this: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/quests/
Also the land around spawn regenerates once a month from use of beginners without regenerating of important ores such as diamonds which i hope to also see a plug in for MC but for now have to do manually, and not yet but shortly after debate of rules leads to a re-spawning ender and nether. I've made my own MySql server and putting up hunger games or mini games mix to server but waiting for server to become more popular 1st so there's no overkill for beginners and where to start on server or what to do.... (confusion). Best to let players learn and know whats going on before moving to next big step.
Fixed, kits and made it so they get stack of food. This is a hardcore server and food is hard to get or find. For players this way they will feel spoiled and have tools they need to start and more then enough to example plugin. :) tell me what you think. we also have RES and shops/player shops, jobs, and more. Our webpage is growing all the time with the latest news.
drschool thank you, We are 100% dedicated to this plugin with hopes to be the main example on your page, and thank you for appreciating our spawn as its still being built everyday and getting better. The files i can modify players and keep data but was asking for admin commands for my mods/admins to use. As far as the video we are remaking a new one in hopes to please paully104 to post on CURE and BUKKIT with more professionalism and still keep the funny. There will be more examples and talk about plugin as well and the lighting will no longer be an issue. Our server was made to be hardcore, so the starting kit with stone tools was made to be a breaking point for there first achievement. But after many player complaints and this last post i will be switching to wood kits in hope to please you both for the race to become the server example. Please let me know if were wasting our time in effort, My staff is dedicated to help this plugin and all hopes to be on page. This is our first server after 3 years of past several Mine-Craft servers and we feel with this plugin we have a huge advantage and head start.
After the .15 beta update, things seem to be working well with the magic (and mobs); the members are happy now (and there was much rejoicing).
I hadn't gotten the problem that skylor had about players in the vicinity getting combat xp for others' kills. How close to other players do you have to be for them to get your xp?
@redbull - funny video, but the game play parts of the video were really dark and I couldn't really see anything that was happening. Also, for your server, every time you update the plugin, first backup all the player files in the players folder and reload them to the server after the update; that way people don't lose any of their stats or backpack items. Checked out your server btw, very cool spawn area. Did you build that? Starting players can't use any of the starting kit items though as they are all made from stone and lvl 1 players can only use wood.
