Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:

This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Please read compatibility information before downloading as not all releases work with all versions of CraftBukkit.
Latest version should be on BukkitDev, or as a release on the Github page: https://github.com/lishid/Orebfuscator/releases
Please also download ProtocolLib and install it in the plugins folder.
- Is compatible only with version 4.0.0 or newer.
- For 1.9.4 support, you must use build 277 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.10 support, you must use build 293 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.11 support, please use latest stable builds of ProtocolLib for 1.11.

Features
- Advanced algorithm that hides ore, chest and and anything you specify in the configuration
- Spout compatible, but optional
- No modifications to CraftBukkit.jar is needed

Usage
Install:
- Copy "orebfuscator-4.4.3.jar" to your plugins folder
- If you're upgrading from Orebfuscator.jar, move the contents of the "Orebfuscator3" folder to the "Orebfuscator4" folder
- Restart your server.

you can use commands to disable permissions and op bypass, or use /ofc reload to reload the config If you still got problems, let me in your server to see.

We did a lot of optimization. Hashing, caching, and many more. Post your config if you have problems...
Guys, I run a 47 player server with 2GB ram, and we get nearly no lag at all. If you're having problems, maybe you just set the config variables too high. Post your config along with your versions.
Same report here on the lag. I can't get 7 players on a server which did handle 20+ before. Constant can't kepe up messages and lag out the wazoo.
I've only tried Mode 2 as Mode 1 doesn't block xray well enough for me. No spout.
I run a small server (10-30) players, My server uses an I-5 quad core with 8 gigs of ram. I am getting CRAZY lag with this plugin and only like 10 players online. I am showing about 50% processor use (up from around 20%) when I try to use Orebfusicator with spout. Also my server spams "can't keep up messages" and the players complain of a whole range of lag. I WISH this plugin worked properly but it just isn't. Please look into optimizing this, such a great idea (if it worked) Thank you.
I can confirm, MASSIVE lag with Engine2 using Spout, and Engine1 doesn't seem to do much blocking at all... I drop to 4-5 TPS with Engine2, not sure what I should change in the config to improve that though.. Any suggestions ? Running and i7 24Go of Ram...

I can't get this to work at all. Bukkit 1597, latest Orebfuscator version. I've tried both engine modes, triple checked permissions/ops, and disabled NoObfuscationForOps/Permission in the config, but I can still see ore/chests through walls.
EDIT: Should also note that I'm not using Spout.
Can we have a detailled changelog with each new version?

Yeah you can, add the world name in the disabled worlds (use commands or config)

I am getting the linked error, running 1.2.2 build (no spout) on latest Bukkit RB. On default configs the map never loads and you end up just falling.
any ideas?
I get a lot of compression errors being thrown. Updating Spout to the dev version seemed to fix the server side errors, but I still get them clientside. Ofc 1.2.2, Spout 650, CB 1597
