NovaGuilds is my own guilds plugin, still in development, but I want to hear your opinions and ideas.
Please leave feedback!

Vault is required!
BarAPI is required unless you turn it off in config!
HolographicDisplays is required unless you turn it off in config!

The plugin works on all 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 versions!

Source

Setup

Download latest version
Put it in your plugins/ directory
Also put there Vault
Add BarAPI and HolographicDisplays plugins if you need.
Restart/reload the server
Edit config.yml to setup your database
Add {TAG} to players chat message/prefix (I recommend Essentials config)
Restart/reload the server
Enjoy and leave feedback!

Commands

What Essentials language do you use? It automatically detects it and switches. Set overrideessentials (or something like that) to true in the config. Please contact me via Github for faster reply

Hello, why am I in the plug-in configuration file which set the Chinese language, restart the server why not use?

Could you add a "MODE" where me as an admin could create 2 or 3 clans, like a Game Master, and could make the player choose wich one to pick?

i wanna make a World per Faction server, and make them battle on Neutral Grounds (server).

But i cannot find a mod that allows me to create myself FACTIONS that people can ONLY join, not manipulate taxes or territory.

You have to provide more information. Please post an issue on github (https://github.com/MarcinWieczorek/NovaGuilds/issues) and post there your console log, server and NG version etc. Also post there your skype username. Thanks!

Hey I installed this plugin and it works great for the most part, I configure everything and was perfect but when I go and create a guild, everything is still fine, but every time I restart my server for fixes on anything it corrupts the guild, files are still there it just won't read it. Help?

EDIT: it says it has to do with holographic displays but I can't figure out what specifically about it is messing up.

How possibly could the plugin host a MySQL server? Only working storage type is MySQL atm, I thought sqlite isn't working great, but you say it works flawlessly, that's cool. Flat isn't finished at all, it's not tested and highly unrecommended, but you say it works, then I say 'wow'. If you could please add all the stuff you find not working at Github's issues page it'd be great. I'll look into all the bugs, but hey, it's DEV version ;) Last stable is #10.

btw. port fowarding has nothing to do with connecting to the database.

Personal Request Could you make this plugin compatible with PlayerVaults http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/playervaults/

Guilds can have up to 6 Vaults to store items in? So like instead of like each player getting a Vault, make it each guild Starts with 0 vaults, and they can buy vaults 500,1000,5000,10000 $ ?

Edit: I was wrong, Flat file and SQlite generate a file or database, Guilds will be logged.
The issue, is the server won't pull information from the file or database,you can't do /gi or /guild info, and on restart you lose your guild.
Will be trying MySql system in the next couple of days.
This info below, I was up 36 hours straight, didn't really have a clue what i was talking about. Was just excited the plugin loaded.

( Not very familiar with MySql )
After testing Various versions, I assume the plugin does not Host a MySQL data base on #the computer the plugin is running on, even with the IP / Port inserted into the config.yml
Note: have attempted to change the default 3306 port to other things and even port forwarded.
port forward made the server load a lot slower, and still failed to connect.

When it says MySQL : true
I change it to false, and the plugin works flawlessly.
Also Tested some of your dev versions, Primary MySql,when it does not load.
the plugin does not switch to secondary flat file.
The plugin does not hook/search for the other 2 options
The plugin simply gets disabled.

Working Available options are....
sqlite and flat
I will greatly enjoy using this plugin :) Thanks for making it.
