Nexus
Nexus Beta (0.4.10)
The Next-Gen Plugin
Highlights
26 commands w/ over 60 variations for complete control and vast flexibility. Player names are recognized w/ just a few letters instead of typing out every character. Multi-world support allows each world to have its own spawn point. Players can request teleports to others w/out the need of a mod or admin. Drag-&-drop installation w/out cumbersome config files. More than 15x smaller & less overhead than competitive plugins, such as Essentials. Disable specific commands that are not needed or conflict w/ other plugins. Powerful & layered permissions to fine-tune the capabilities of mods & admins.
Developer's Commitment
Many plugins are slow to update or cease development period, thus causing admins to seek alternatives and then need to learn new commands & permissions. As the developer of Nexus, my commitment to you is long-term support by constantly updating to the latest Minecraft/CraftBukkit versions and provide fast email responses. Each release is heavily tested striving toward a zero-error target & quick fixes to any known or reported issues. Nexus will always be less than 100 KB w/ next-to-nothing overhead. Seriously.

You can click on the IRC link to chat in real time while I look into this error.
@vioCode
New build and R3
Appears on server start up on first run
@GlabbichRulz
I will be adding that in a later version!
Does the command /time clash with /time set etc?
@GlabbichRulz
It is not possible to change a command from a file.
Whats about adding a "spawnmob ((creature)) ((Amount))" command and a file where the admin can configure the commands, such as /setspawn instead of /spawn set. I think this would be cool.
@ledhead900
Next update will include a commands.yml file to house toggles of available commands. That way, you can determine how "lite" this plugin can be tailored to your needs.
I am starting to think that I should add an IRC channel.
@vioCode
NP I just dont want to bloat it too much since Royal Commands has over 90 so I am just suggesting some good ones to add trying to to keep the over all command list under 20. So its still light weight but if you let us disable any of them it won't really matter.
Edit I had bit more of a think about the warps and homes, there are already over a 6 dedicated plugins that do just this provide dedicated support to homes or warps or both, and at least 4 that gives server commands and homes and warps.
So if it was my plugin I would drop that idea all together and just recommend a decent dedicated homes and warp plugin instead. Since this is less work for you and makes the plugin much more light weighted, Also I would give you the same advice for addding rules and motd again LOTS of plugins do this dedicated in fact I am using one such plugin.
I am attracted to this plugin as it light weight and is not bloated with over 100 commands that you can't toggle and performs just what you would expect, simple TP commands and IP checks.
@ledhead900
Love your ideas and feedback! I will do what I can to make exactly what you're looking for.
@vioCode
@vioCode
That sounds good I would be willing to move to this once I could toggle the commands off.
So just recap some ideas I had
@ledhead900
Also, the /level command is to set the player's enchanting level that you would normally go through by killing mobs and collecting experience orbs. Some server owners like this command and it will eventually be used as a replacement to /xp that comes default.
@ledhead900
I can make a config file to toggle commands, easier to code and manage from a server owner's perspective.
@vioCode
Permissions is not the issue I actually just have dedicated plugins that also have similar commands, so allowing the command to actually be registered by the plugin may lead into a conflict with existing plugins that also have the same commands or do similar features, I prefer to do what I used to do with essentials and just cut out any commands plugin.yml that were not needed or toggle them off in a config so they did nothing on server start.
Maybe you could do what Commandbook has done and allow a custom build mode that builds the plugin with just the commands selected, just a thought.
Not allowing them in permissions would work for players but not if you were OP.
@raymonddanielsiii
Very glad this is useful to you! I should have the /spawn complete very soon as that is the next thing I am working on. Good idea for having a global spawn versus world spawn. I can certainly do that, but will probably be something to add after getting /spawn working. Thank you for the comment! Keep them coming so I know which direction to take.
@ledhead900
If you are using permissions its very possible to ensure the commands you do not want others to use to be omitted. That way the plugin is still useful for your server. And thank you for the feedback!
Looks awesome so far. I'm going to keep an eye on this plugin because they don't update the one I'm currently using enough. There are a couple features like /spawn and /home, that I have to wait on though before I can switch over. Would it be possible to add a setting to, have just one global spawn location. So when you /spawn from any world, it takes you to the spawn point in the main world. Instead of a separate spawn location for each world. Excellent Work so far though vioviocity. Looking forward to seeing this mod develop.
@vioCode
I noticed your missing 1 essential feature, Give and Item
Where give can be /give itemid:meta amount playername
and item is /item itemid:meta amount
Also I have no idea what those level set commands are for seems pretty useless. Also can we keep it how it is once the give commands are in if your going to add homes and warps can u make that an optional thing and have a light version of the plugin. I really only want the simple design of the teleport commands really.
EDIT: Sorry I can't use this I just want a simple 4 command plugin basically everything in this with out any weather,setspawn,time commands. I tried to remove them from plugin.yml but plugin really hates that, so this is a no go for me.
@OriginalMadman
I am unfamiliar with Vault, yet if it's a feature you want I will gladly look into the API.
Great focus, you got the right ideas (reading from the comments). I have issues with all the alternatives, so I would really like to see where this is going. Could I suggest that you build in vault integration directly - so each command can cost a certain amount and it is easily configurable without a 3rd plugin?
@Taryq
I love your feedback! I, too, do not like novelty commands such as /thor (mainly because my head admin loves it and he uses it too much). Checkpoint is an excellent concept and /cp will go well with /tp since both are used for teleportation. I will highly consider the checkpoint idea!
