Highlights

26 commands w/ over 60 variations for complete control and vast flexibility. Player names are recognized w/ just a few letters instead of typing out every character. Multi-world support allows each world to have its own spawn point. Players can request teleports to others w/out the need of a mod or admin. Drag-&-drop installation w/out cumbersome config files. More than 15x smaller & less overhead than competitive plugins, such as Essentials. Disable specific commands that are not needed or conflict w/ other plugins. Powerful & layered permissions to fine-tune the capabilities of mods & admins.

Many plugins are slow to update or cease development period, thus causing admins to seek alternatives and then need to learn new commands & permissions. As the developer of Nexus, my commitment to you is long-term support by constantly updating to the latest Minecraft/CraftBukkit versions and provide fast email responses. Each release is heavily tested striving toward a zero-error target & quick fixes to any known or reported issues. Nexus will always be less than 100 KB w/ next-to-nothing overhead. Seriously.

I will not be continuing this project. There is just not enough interest and there are several other plugins, especially Essentials, that does gets the job done. While I think Nexus has significant advantages over the others, it's not be widely adopted and I've not been available in the past year to update it.

Thank you for the interest. I am considering getting back into plugin development. If enough requests, I might consider continuing this project. No plans as of right now.

I haven't seen a comment in a long time! I will go ahead and add a /rules command. I'm not so sure about a /speed command though. I will have to give it some thought as it can be construed as a novelty command.

Since I haven't worked on this plugin in months, I need to go over the code and see if I can make some improvements as I'm a little better as a coder and Bukkit has probably changed.

I suggest adding a /rules command to read from a yaml file and also a /speed command to set players flying speed.

It would be great if you could add that in, thanks for reading.

Waypoints do exist yet not in the form of signs. And adding any form of an economy would be outside of this plugin's scope. Essentials is not the essentials... its bloated with too many "features" which is why I set out to code this one... it is truly an essentials plugin to make it easier to run a server. iConomy is a wonderful plugin that can handle your economic needs, in my opinion.

I think all you need to add is economy buy and sell signs, as well as waypoint (warp) signs and I can switch to this from essentials.

But some stuff I want to keep, like /item you can do /item apple and you get 1 apple, and /give is needed for TMI.

Is there a way to stop it saying command replaced? I have a custom /tell command, a custom /clear command and it's conflicting with many plugins...

Development has paused but its far from dead! I've not had the time to update. I have a full-time job, wife and a 2 year-old son... I wish I could develop full time as this plugin and my others would be updated weekly if not sooner.

Has development stopped on this plugin. I really love this plugin and it fits my needs on the server exactly. Hope you havent given up hope on this plugin. keep up the good work.

Im running on 1.4.2 dev builds as they release them. Your plugin is by far the cleanest and easiest to maintain sofar. People are still stuck to using essentials and they are surprised by the ease of this plugin. I am an avid user, and a fan. I hope that I could continue to work with this plug-in as well as you in the future. BTW I hope this donation helps :D
