Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

if its REALLY messed up try running it thru chunkster...i find it hard to believe a plugin could do that much damage though...
I added the latest Monster Apocalypse v3.0 for CB 1.0.1-R1 to my plugins folder and when starting the server it does not enable. I get the message: [SEVERE] Error occurred while enabling Monster Apocalypse v<0.0.1> (Is it up to date?): null
If I make a config.yml file (pasting in the config on this site) and put it in a folder named MonsterApocalypse I get this message when starting the server: [SEVERE] Error occurred while enabling Monster Apocalypse v<0.0.1> (Is it up to date?): null; mapping values are not allowed here
What is wrong? I am using craftbukkit-1.0.1-R2-SNAPSHOT and server runs fine otherwise. Is a default config file supposed to generate automatically on server startup? This mod sounds great please help!

Minecraft is hard coded so that you cannot tame angry wolves. As for your tame ones, well, I should probably test for tameness before enabling aggro.
Is there any way you can make aggressive wolves tamable? More of a challenge taming an angry wolf anyways, so it would be more fun... but I think the angry wolf feature made even my tamed ones angry... I thought there seemed to be too many angry wolves near my house...

The features you listed don't fit the plugin's theme at all.
However, you might want to take another look after the region update. I'm planning on adding some primitive spawning nodes.
Another awesome mod. which does many good things. :) keep up the good work!. I intend to use this in combination with a roleplaying server.

As far as blocks go, I would have to make you a custom version.
Making mobs sink would be possible, yes, but would look very buggy.
Right now, sky building and underwater do indeed make it easier to survive. The reason this isn't seen as a true problem to me is that you will still need food, and even if you farm the food you're not REALLY playing the game doing this.
Hey, I am playing with mods that add actual blocks client side. (it's rare, I know, but dozens of mods now work perfectly well). One mod is called "redstone power 2", and it greatly expands Minecraft and adds thousands of possible sub-blocks.
I'd like to allow the zombies to break these sub-blocks if possible. I tried entering the block ID for them followed by a time but it did not work. Note that they do NOT have a craftbukkit enum for them. I need to be able to specify an arbitrary block ID in the config file rather than being restricted to existing enums, and this will probably work. If I could also specify a meta-data value for the block that would be helpful, but not essential.
Another possibility that would work well is if I could instead stick the zombie horde into a mode where they can break ALL blocks except for block IDs that I specify and bedrock.
This second comment probably isn't possible within the API of bukkit, but I have decided to ask anyway. Could it be possible for monsters to swim down through water? Perhaps by just teleporting them downwards and disabling them from jumping up while in water? (and making them immune to drowning by default)
The easiest and most effective way I found to bypass the monster hordes this mod adds was to build underwater.

Because currency is typically handled by a plugin, and there are many different currency plugins, this isn't possible without playing favorites with currency plugins. HOWEVER, if you were to use a plugin which only gave currency to another plugin on mob death, it shouldn't interfere with Monster Apocalypse.

Try editing the config in notepadplusplus or wordpad, regular notepad doesn't support the right kind of linebreaks. It's DEFINATELY a problem with your config lines.

Looks like an error in your config.yml In particular, it look like there's a missing New Line between lines 14 and 15, sorta like this:

srry about double post but after restarting server a few times and reading through the config (note i didnt change anything from when there wasnt a error message) it now says

there is no errror message, it says it loads fine but i have always night enabled and it still cycles the time like normal

Maybe you needed to restart the server? It's definitely not going to work unless you do that, that's how it loads the mob list.
okay, I fixed the problem myself =) I used your plugin on a running world where it wouldn't work. So i posted that comment... Now I created a new world and ran the plugin with some modified options and IT WORKED! :) problem solved. The only thing I'd like to now is why the plugin didn't work on used world. Thx for the awesome plugin :D
:( when i enable costum monster properties bukkit tells me the plugin isn't up to date. If i disable that option, i don't get any errors. BUT: I enabled costum drops and modified the drop properties of chicken so they drop 1 diamond (- DIAMOND:1:100.0) + i don't get any errors but still, chicken only drop their standard feathers + legs... any idea? i would be glad if you could help me :) (i used your example file with explanation and ONLY modified the drops + enabled costum drops)
