Overview

Magic is a plugin that adds powerful magic wands, items, mobs and more to your server. With over 200 spells, a variety of wand templates, and complete customization, you can use Magic to craft a unique experience for your server.

The default experience is an "RPG lite" extension to survival. Other examples are included, such as a Harry Potter setup, Star Wars, GTA-Style guns and cars, elemental bending and more.

Magic is infinitely customizable, allowing you to script your own spells, actions, items, mobs and anything else you see done in the included example configurations.

Metrics Collection

This plugin uses bstats for metrics collection. The information sent to bstats.org is completely anonymous, publicly viewable, and includes the following metrics:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true, or by editing this plugin's config.yml and changing "metrics_level" to 0.

What server software and version are you using? Magic only supports Spigot, Paper and Craftbukkit.

Let me know what both "/version" and "/version magic" say, please.

Hi,

How do i make a wand without any spells, cuz i made some but i couldnt use my spells.

How do i fix this?

hi first sorry for my english, im french ^^

i got 2 problems

1-first i use expert inventory mode and right click mode and the problem that i can't see all my spells in list so how can i resolve this ?

2-i can"t swap to second hotbar because when i press the drop item botton it swap to my inventory

this is a problem of my game or i just don't do thing good

The swap button is what goes to the 2nd hotbar

If you have a lot of spells they are either in your 2nd hotbar or possibly another spell inventory page, right-click on your wand or click outside the inventory to change pages

thanks i solve the problem in right click mode the swap swap my wand and my mana talissement ^^' so i can't go to second hotbar i just change wand controll mod it's better now :)

Im using 9.4.3 on a 1.17.1 aternos server and when i try to load the resource pack it either doesnt load or just stops at 53%. Any sort of fix for this?

If you see a progress bar at all then the MC server has sent the packet and it's all between your MC client and the RP server at that point. It should only have to actually download it once, though.

If it's consistently failing for you, you may need to delete a failed download from your serverresourcepacks folder (in your Minecraft library).

Worse-case you can do "/getrp url" and download it yourself, but you won't get automatic updates that way.

Hello i have a little smp server thing and i cant see the texture packs for wands its already set to when you join it asks you

There was a bug sending resource packs in 9.4.2, sorry about that!

9.4.3 is submitted and so should show up here in a day or so.

In the meantime you can use the “/getrp” command when you join as a work-around.

so for a while i was able to use the plug in fine but now im unable to make my wand inventory how i want it without it deleting all the items in my inventory besides from the wand itself

Are there any errors in your server logs? Are you actually in the spell inventory or did something glitch out and replace your survival inventory with spells? You may need to /clear if so, and make sure you're not using any incompatible plugins like backpacks, per-world-inv or anything that would mess with or replace/restore your inventory.

Essentials doesn't really have shops, it has shop signs and you can sell magic items on them if you want, but there are many much better ways of making shops.

When I left click it uses spells but when I right clicks it don't open spell inventory can you tell why?
