Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Hey! I absolutely love this plugin, I installed it for my server, but I only got into the configuration part when I realized that my config reset every time I did /gpreload or /reload. Another thing: Even when players are soft-muted, other players still see their messages in the following format:
(Muted <playerdisplayname>): <message>
I want to have softmute not display messages for other players at all, and I also would like help troubleshooting this configuration problem.
Hey I'm loving your plugin been using it for 3 years now and ive only made this account on here to ask a question I cannot seem to get my staff to be able to post links in chat and I cannot find a node for it anywhere can you help me?
Thanks

Hello. I am starting to get things on my server ready for 1.13, which sounds like the mother of all Bukkit/Spigot updates. We loved your plug-in for years now. Are you planning on updating to the new 1.13 framework? I hope so! I can't imagine using any other grief protection but your.

How would I Turn PVP on If I wanted to
In reply to codyman7698:
Since devbukkit changed the URL structure, some of the links to the manual and older versions did not function - but were still there in the pages and files tab, respectively. Regardless, I've went in and modified these links to point to the proper URLs.
Make sure you are using the appropriate means mentioned in big red text for support; as you can tell, I do not check the comment section often.
my claims get reset in addon dimensions (rftools specifically for an easy skyblock system) even though the config is set to survival and there are zero creative systems (yet)
Im wanting to attempt to use this plugin I have some questions here ...
How can I use this plugin with factions...factions has safezone and warzone protections.(I know GP has Flags )..also lets say I create a claim, is there flags a player (not admin, staff, etc..) can create to let people in on the greaf prevention plugin. How does the factions claiming work ? or is there a conflict ? I'm hoping your following me on this. I used this plugin 2-3 years ago and loved it . I would still love using it, its everything you guys advertised and more :D However, we had major issues with the factionsclaiming and GP claiming. people would create claims but they were not part of there faction. Factions claiming with officers having GP claims withing the faction. I mean it was a Frinking mess :D of course now were all more advanced and skilled at running servers. More Experienced. Back than I created a separate map just so we could use this plugin :D Because it was so great. The plugins I'm using right now are great thay do everything I need. id have to say about 80% + servers period use the same plugins I use because there the most trusted in this business. We LOVE Factions ! I have seen NOTHING in this plugin other than negative issues with factions. that's the ONLY reason im not using this. now I have not ran this plugin for a couple years ...Im hoping this has changed. Its a claiming issue . From my experience with with a factions server is that its a bit more fast pase than most other servers. Players do not want to take the time to learn about this plugin and they get frustrated and leave the server. I have had this happen. I for one love this plugin. However, I cannot have players leaving my server because of it. Now, proper factions intergration, would mean I would not need any of the other plugins I have. this plugin would accually replace about 20 of the 30 plugins im using, if not more ! :D I'm not joke one bit ... if there is faction integration please send me a link because I think configing one plugin and having 10 plugins in place of 30 would create a shinyer happier server with less lag issues. :D Do this for us or post us a link to a plugin that does what factions does, that would work with greaf prevention. :D Big Smiles :D
where are the permissions?
Links for 1.7.10 appear to be bad, and I can't find the file available anywhere else to download either.
I have a problem. How do I enable pvp in my claims? Pls help!
How Do I Enable buying and selling claimblocks? I gave all permissions and still doesnt work!! Every time I type in : /buyclaim , /buyclaimblocks , /sellclaimblocks // It says : Sorry Buying anhd selling claimblocks is disabled. // anyone please help!!
In reply to Forge_User_97698431:
Awesome plugin, thank you very much for making that! Actually I use it to replace the default Factions claim system ; )
Question: When the claim extends downward, does this use up extra blocks? Or is it only the X and Y that uses blocks?
In reply to lothinator:
How do i allow pistons? Every time i try use them im getting the error: "Warning: Pistons won't move blocks outside land claims". What should i do?!
