Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

In reply to yonatheman:
Using a Stick, or whatever you set your GriefPrevention tool to be:
Using just Right-Click will give you the outline of the current claim.
Players on my server can create claims and give trust perfectly fine, but players without trust can still break blocks. Broken blocks will drop onto the floor and then the message that they do not have permission will be displayed. Therefore making the plugin ineffective. Is there any fix for this issue?
In reply to NDalts:
Hey mate just found the problem, if you're running powerranks on your server too this error will occur. I found out by removing plugins other than GP one by one and powerranks interfered with it. After removing powerranks GP works fine.
In reply to NDalts:
Additionally, if you have an application on your computer such as WinRAR, you can open the .jar file and make + save an edit to the plugin.yml, adding a dependency to the plugin that will require it to communicate to GriefPrevention. I am not 100% sure if this will work, as I have not tested this, but it's worth a shot. But please, make a backup of the plugin's .jar file rather than changing the original, and use it on a test server.
For some reason players can break in the claims but cant build in the claims.... Can you tell me how to fix this please?

In reply to Forge_User_19181122:
Is there any way to implement economy based land claims? Would love to have the time spent in server increases max claim size, BUT also have the requirement to spend in-game currency from an economy plugin like Vault as well.
I know Towny does this, but I like these claim procedures better, just wish you could set the requirement to having to spend currency to make the claims.
In reply to xstuicidex:
GriefPrevention already has an economy-based system: "/buyclaimblocks" and "/sellclaimblocks". Or, are you talking about implementing something like the ability to buy/sell the claims themselves? That would definitely be nice to have, but there are already plugins that do that...including ones that use GriefPrevention.
as an admin on my server i'dlove the ability to spawn amimals and mobs bit even with ignoreclaimsi cant....
In reply to bluefeather:
If you have Essentials, instead of using "/summon", try using
The "/ignoreclaims" will allow you to do so, but generally with Spawn Eggs.
Or...this could be your difficulty is set to "Peaceful".
Hey hey! Absolute beast of a plugin! Thank you so so much for this healthy contribution to servers everywhere!
Quick question for anyone who can answer: Is there a way to edit the amount of claim blocks accrued per hour for certain groups?
I know that you can change the amount of max blocks using a command, but is there a similar command for this?
