Today I covered the floor of our base with half blocks of cobble and whenever you would /f home you end up falling through the world. I removed the half blocks at the home location and no issues. Just thought I'd let you know of this issue.
@GarretSidzaka
If you're able (using Netbeans or Eclipse or whatever) to compile from our source on GitHub, you're welcome to test out dev builds that way. I normally test dev builds on my own server (after fairly thorough testing on a VM), and Olof likewise runs test builds for the MassiveCraft server, so we don't have official testers beyond that.
@MutinyCraft
Hmm, I could see that being a confusing and pointless feature for most people, no offense intended.
The next release is taking a little longer than expected, but it's getting close. Hopefully within the next 24 hours.
Any possible way to implement a config option to separate what world Peaceful Factions can claim in from normal Factions? On my server I have a "War" world and that is the only place I want Factions that are not Peaceful to be able to claim, but that means Peaceful Factions can only claim here and if I tell them not to they would lose their f home as well as the ability to claim. Maybe an option in the conf for "worldsNoClaiming" and another for ""worldsNoClaimingPeaceful". I do not know how hard that would be to implement, but it would really help out a ton on my server. I have donated before (bukkit.org name is Jigsaw) as I said I would when you fixed the issue with the load time taking extremely long with a large player base. I would donate again if you could implement this feature in.
hey brett!
remember me i donate a while ago. hey can i please be a tester! i have sent at least 20 of my minions over to you to tell you errors, and i would love to just be a tester for realz.
please pm me the dev build thx :D
@supayoshi
Olof feels that a donation button would discourage other devs from contributing code to the project, so we don't have one. I do however occasionally accept donations for handling specific feature requests.
@supayoshi
That's already updated for the next release.
@Hummer2008
PermissionsBukkit uses Bukkit's built-in "superperms" system just like all other up-to-date permission plugins, so yes.
@shintarutaru
Thanks for the report, I'll check into it.
@Crayder
It would be 90. Further changes to power handling to keep large factions from being overpowered are planned.
Let us assume I've made a cap of 90 total power per faction. The total per-player power is 3. Let's then assume I have no limit of members per faction. Now let's assume inactive players lose 1 power per day.
If I have a faction of 40 members, their total power would be 120. However, it caps at 90. Let's assume 10 of those 40 are inactive for a day though. The next day, would their faction's power be 80, because of the loss of 10 power under the cap, or would it remain to be 90 because their "true" total power is 110, uncapped?
Since installing factions i can now freely use ender pearls without taking damage, when i do i receive the message "You cannot hurt You"
Is there a PermissionsBukkit Support?
@supayoshi
So btw when are you adjusting the North? to the new MC 1.1 / 1.0 Compass direction?
Thank you!!! This is stilla bug, it was in other plugins aswell, like Dynmap for example, but they fixed it, Factions didnt yet. Please fix this.
@masteryodaaa
Woot please :D Please Update it! And when is there a donation button here?
@masteryodaaa
That's fixed in the upcoming 1.6.3 release, which should be made available in 2-3 days.
Why do i get this spamed in console al the time?

@rolecraft
That would be up to another plugin to actually completely disable PvP in a specific world. Factions doesn't provide that.

@xaldovit
Another dev who uses VanishNoPacket would need to implement it and post a pull request on GitHub for it. I don't use that plugin, and my free time is limited.
Is there a option when using the VanishNoPacket plugin to make a player not relative to a faction when vanished. Because if you as admin goes to lookup a war where a enemy is fighting (to look if they hacking), they cant teleport because you are within (x) blocks of them. Then they know you are there, they will complain / stop hacking for the moment / the war is corrupted. Hope there is a solution. Greets, Xaldovit.
I'm also interested in whether you can use this plugin only in 1 world (and have people in the other worlds not experience any changes).
then how exacly can i enable pvp in just one world and leave the rest fulyy disabled? i tried alot but it keeps on failing.. :D
@Crayder
/f config territoryEnemyProtectMaterials false There's no way to cherry pick specific materials for enemies/allies/whatever, though; it's all or none.
@dunem666
Sounds like you need the Register plugin.
@badda2k
Possibly the next update, otherwise the one after that.
@ArrowsToDaKnee
Sounds like the shortcomings of a permission plugin which doesn't allow denying parent permissions in order to deny all of the child permissions. That said, I don't know of a permission plugin offhand that does actually have that capability, though it would be an obvious one. So... if you can't do that, I'd guess you'll need to deny each of the individual permissions from the fullplayer kit which you don't want them to have.
@datwerd86
It should be territoryDenyUseage.
@rolecraft
The "ignorePvp" setting has Factions pay no attention to PvP in those worlds (so allies/members/etc. can hurt each other and such). It doesn't prevent PvP, it does what it says it does (ignore).
@RustyDagger
Does not compute. Boop beep boop.
@Brettflan
I love how you seem to think that i would mess around with primitive chat formatting for 12 + hours with out looking up the outdated documentation. Your response is like that of a BOT. And dose not address any of the issues I raised.
Thanks for the Reply.
The 'ignorePvp' option seems to still be failing on me ....
I clearly disabled PvP in both multiverse as factions and its STILL possible to pvp in the normal world...
(server.properties setting pvp is ON ofcourse otherwise it wont go on at all with any option i put in..) "worldsNoPowerLoss": [], "worldsIgnorePvP": [ "world" ], "worldsNoWildernessProtection": [] } Still they hit each other to hell.. :< Im using the 1.6.2 version
possible to add an option for no chest/door protection for neutral faction members territoryNeutralDenyUseage true/false
