Running v1.7_dev with bukkit build 1493. The iConomy (v6) link doesn't work, Factions to Register-1.5 issues. It works when iConomy is not used in SQL mode...
Everything else seems to be functioning. Netherbrick protections work and all.
@meiamone
Probably, but I haven't tested with any of the 1.0 dev builds yet.
So, is it compatible with 1490, or any 1.0 Bukkit dev?
@Beminecraft
Errm? php json parser perhaps? If you're that eager to work with it.
@Beminecraft
As I said, not planned any time soon.
@XepherLink
Something like /f disband <faction name>, maybe? Believe it or not, that command exists. Anyway, empty factions should be automatically disbanded when their last member leaves or is removed, unless of course you've marked that faction as permanent.
I dont understand why you didnt implement a /f remove {faction name} command so we won't have to deal with 100 empty factions!
@Brettflan
And what if you just do a quick sql version, with an integration just for the creation of the clans: I really would like to be able to create and change some basic information about the factions through the website, such as: creation, changing name, accepting players... Not for the territories and all this stuff, just for the players management. If it's not possible, that's ok, I will try to do it by my own by using websend. Anyway, thanks for this amazing plugin :D
@Beminecraft
Well, sorry, but it's still not planned any time soon. Proper MySQL integration would take quite a lot of work.
@Brettflan
O_o The mysql support was the only thing I was waiting for to install faction :(
@Brettflan
Okay ty for answering anyway :D
@therealorgrin
Definitely doesn't sound like a Factions-specific problem, and I've never heard of that sort of thing happening before, so...
After the last opdate 1.6.1, players can get "removed from the system".
When they are "removed" theres no error in the server log. When they are "removed" they can't place any blocks nor open doors.
The strange is that they can't eat either, so i dunno if this is faction...
They can sometimes fix it with a relog or 2
Bukkit 1337
Using bpermission - dunno why it load that one
->[INFO] [Factions v1.6.1] Will use this plugin for permissions: Permissions v2.7.2
[INFO] [Factions v1.6.1] Loading board from disk
[INFO] [Factions v1.6.1] Found and will use features of Spout v529
[INFO] [Factions v1.6.1] Economy integration through Register plugin successful.
[INFO] [Factions v1.6.1] NOTE: Economy is disabled. Enable in conf "econEnabled": true
I got 3 worlds same error in all
@Brettflan
ended up updating the JDK, i'd had to do it anyway ^^
@MinecraftJackson
Like I mentioned, check what Factions says in the server log/console when you start the server. It should indicate whether it is hooking into Register or not, and whether economy is even enabled.
@rockxz3
You can already set a permanent power level for any faction. /f permanentpower.
@Beminecraft
Not any time soon. MySQL support might be added eventually.
Hi, when will the sql management be available?
Could there be a command to max out a faction or players power?
@Brettflan
I have the plugin, but what do i do? its not working, is there any configs i need to do ? i am using iConomy. There hasn't been a folder created?
@Brettflan
What register plugin?
@MinecraftJackson
Do you have the Register plugin installed? Tip: if you're having trouble, check what Factions says in the server log/console at startup. Also reading the user manual would be a good idea.
@con68
What plugin are you actually using for permissions? The old Permissions plugin doesn't support superperms and thus doesn't support those kit permissions in the first place, so I don't think you're using it. If you are actually using it, you'll need to grant/deny individual permissions.
Hey, I'm using Permissions with this plug-in but cant seem to get it so default users cant create factions, I know by default they have factions.kit.fullplayer but how do I set it to factions.kit.halfplayer by default?
