Effect List
Enchanting
An enchanting command is in the making, but at the moment, other enchanting plugins or inventory editors must be used
- EasyEnchant - see the Exception section in the config to enable/disable
- Tim The Enchanter - /enchant command for ops
- Auto Enchanter - set "unsafe" to true in config
- General - supported in v4.3+, enable in config
If you know of any other compatible plugins, let me know and I'll add them here. (If you're writing an enchanting plugin, use addUnsafeEnchantment() and ignore canEnchantItem(), then it should be compatible with EnchantMore.)
Limitations
- Not all enchantments reasonably combine with one another
- No permission support
- Some effects are overpowered or unstable; be careful!
For all known issues or to file a new bug see Tickets.
Permissions
All permissions are in this form: enchantmore.<category or item>.<enchantment>.
Item names are identical to those in the default configuration file, for example enchantmore.flintandsteel.aquaaffinity.
The method that forms the permissions can be found here on the GitHub source.
Notes
Slot Data protocol reference
Other relevant plugins of interest pertaining to enchantments:
- Sublimation - silk touch ice, no longer overpowered
- SilkSpawners - pickup and move mob spawners with silk touch
Got a cool idea for a new effect? I can't promise I'll implement everything, but all suggestions are welcome! Feel free to discuss your ideas below, or open a ticket for more specific requests. Including the specific item + enchantment name is appreciated, preferably from the available wanted effects list.

Testers For EnchantMore 2.0
A huge thank you to the following people for helping me get EnchantMore 2.0 tested and finished!

Does this work on CB 1.3.2 ???
Thanks for the tip Rototu, I thought those were optional rather than mandatory. Gonna get me one of those then. :P Reading the info in the description again I see the author has even written that... I guess I didn't really read it very well :x
@KevinGelking
You have to install one of the enchantment mods he listed. Essentials simply won't work, I recommend you Tim The Enchanter from the ones listed because it is simple to use and has funny texts trough it. Hope I helped ;)
Unfortunately it didn't work for me at all in Bukkit Version 1.3.2_r2. No errors given, but neither enchant tables nor /enchant can add the custom enchantments / enchant shears/hoes etc :|
Did I do something wrong or is it simply incompatible?
Hi Bobacadodl,
I'm glad to hear you're working on this, and that it is still in development. This is one of my favourite plugins for MC. Looking forward to seeing what you cook up. :)
I won't be adding any new enchantment combinations ATM, sorry.
Well, I am now the manager of this plugin. I will try to fix any issues ASAP. I am planning a complete rewrite of this plugin, so stay tuned!
awesome :D
I tested with 1.3.1-R1.0, seems to work... How about Sword + Projectile Protection= Reflect projectiles when blocking?
Wow awesome Plugin!
your plugin skrewed up everything
can you add change to storm or sun enchant weapons?
Do you think you will ever add permissions, because I would like to add this to my server, but remove the OP enchants, or give some to donators...
Sharpness on pickaxes seems to deny Fortune and Silktouch. Sad *cry*
@vlaster
No you can't
can i enchant a for example a sword whit respiration whit the enchantment table if i am a normal user (not an op)?
Another feature I'd like is cooldown times for certain enchantments. The lightning bows are fun, but people go crazy and spam lightning arrows everywhere and it makes players with slower computers lag. Would be nice if you could specify a 10 second cooldown period before you're allowed to shoot another lightning arrow.
Is it possible to add WorldGuard region support for the effects? For example, I don't want people using the "blinding shears" or the "confusion flint and steel" on other people inside the spawn town.
Not sure how doable this one is... but:
Boots + Efficiency = faster sprinting :) (or if not doable, then maybe less hunger burned while sprinting?)
Mostly because in my case I wouldn't wish to enable the Witches Broom (sprint flying) effect.
I have an idea but I'm not really sure it's within this plugins scope or what you're wanting for this plugin but it would still be something that no one else(that i've been able to find) has done but make it so we can choose what enchantments have what effect on a certain item instead of you pre-defining it. I would love to put some of the enchantments you've come up with on items other than the ones you've assigned them to.
