Thanks for the report, i will try to fix this in 2.0.
And yeah this page is a little "deprecated", I'm still working on a whole description on the wiki.citizensnpc.com Wiki so I will add a link to this wiki with v2.0 so far i got a lot of work with it so I didn't got the time to update this page sorry :<
To enter manager mode you need to have certain permissions. best way is just to add the dtl.* permission, depends also what permissions system you are using? When you don't use any permissions system you need to be OP to open the manager mode and use commands on the trader. Btw. a selected trader is a trader in manager-mode ;)
Btw if you got questions you can find me on the esper.net IRC chanel dtlTraders
you can login here http://esper.net/publicirc.php
Thanks for the quick reply but the despawn/spawn method still ain't working for me. I've noticed that I can push him with a empty hand and the trader equipment pops up but still I cant slap him with a stick to enter manager mode :( Also all the trader commands do not work with that NPC. It says "You haven't selected any trader." but I have it actually selected. Maybe this will help you to solve this somehow. It's not that I essentially need it because I'm at the beginning of trader creation but I felt obligated to inform this bug ;)
Also I noticed that the /npc create --char trader is not working, should be --trait instead. With this command the trader isn't still properly created.
Can't wait for 2.0! Thank you for willing to add factions! Keep up the excellent work!
np. i will add factions with the 2.0 release, it will take 1-2 days cose I'm redoing the whole permissions system, locale system, and configuration heading to a Release Version.
For the /trait trader bug you just need first /npc despawn the npc and then spawn it again, (there is a issue on loading the trait when you add it through this command and i didn't got a clue for it)
UPDATE 2.0!
Be prepared to reset all configs and locales. All things will be described in a wiki ;)
I see you've added the Simple-Clans wallet, which is very nice. But is there a way you could also make a Factions wallet for the NPC? Because every faction has it's own bank account therefore it would be awesome if the trader had access to it.
Best regards and awesome work! Can't get enough of this plugin :)
[EDIT]I also have a little bug, because the /trait trader option ain't working for me. I cannot enter for example the manager mode. Only the /trader command let's me create a "true" trader.
Tomorrow (GTM time) should be the first basic setup for "player bankers" be available
So if some1 wants the version when it just will be ready I can mail it
just send me a mail on [email protected]
I'm glad I could help
@dandielo
Wow, thanks for the quick reply and even quicker implementation.
Sure :)
I will add this to the list :)
And thanks :)
EDIT: It's done :) It will be available in ver 1.7.1, now we need to wait that dev.bukkit will approve this version :P
Is there any way you could let us customize which items are used to switch between buy and sell modes in the trader's inventory?
Instead of the Green Wool and Light Blue Wool, I'd like to use the music disks, and then perhaps in the future use the Spout API features to change them into items that say "Buy Items" or "Sell Items".
It might also be handy for the manger menus as well.
BTW, I'm loving this plugin, keep up the great work!
