Ancient Gates
Introduction
This plugin can allow those with permission, to create gates. These gates will teleport any player, entity (incl. passenger) or vehicle (incl. passenger) that enters that gate to the designated location and/or execute a command. This is a very easy to use, easy to maintain transportation plugin! As a bonus, the gates can look any way you like (vertical or horizontal), with a selection of portal materials.
To get started, try the in game command: /gate

You can (globally) opt out the stat collection via /plugins/bStats/config.yml if you wish.
I love this plugin. It's easy to use, and I like that the destination doesn't need to be a portal.
The big annoyances for me, are the interference with the nether portals, and the orientation when making a portal thats 1 block wide.
Have you considered using something else for the portal, like the water texture? I wonder if you could use the Lapis block or Purple Wool texture?
Cool, NICE I have been stalking olof for a update to his ORG plugin, thanks peewi96 to take the lead of updating this nice plugin.
thank you peewi96

Can't beat that!
@confidence47
Version 1.5.8 has been uploaded to fix the economy issue, please wait for Bukkit staff to approve the file.
@confidence47
I shall have a look at this tonight when I get in from work. Vault does not officially support iConomy7 yet, but I don't think that would be the issue.
I'll get back to you tonight (UK time).

Please bear in mind that ops (by default) will bypass gate costs.

I've uploaded a 1.5.6-Tekkit version for anyone that's still running Tekkit Classic (3.1.2/3.1.3). This has been compiled against 1.2.5-R4.0 (aka. Tekkit 3.1.2/3.1.3).
To avoid confusion I will be supplying links to the latest version (1.5.7) and the Tekkit version (1.5.6-Tekkit) at the top of the project page.
I've just uploaded v1.5.7 guys. Apologies for the permissions problems and internal error problems, this version should now fix it.
Vault should be an optional dependency, but some of the code was relying on it thus causing an internal error.
And the access permissions required re-coding slightly due to the use of dynamic permission nodes (i.e. the use of the gate name within the node).
You should also be able to push mobs through gates now ;). Had fun testing that, haha!
@Rytel33
Flick through the comments below, there are some old YouTube videos. I'll have a look at the code tonight.
thanks so much it worked! now all i got to do is figure out how it works XD
@Rytel33
I have a gut instinct on this... Try installing Vault (link above). It's supposed to be a soft dependency, but I have a feeling somewhere in the code it ls trying to use it and its not there. I'll have a look at this tonight if it fixes the problem
when i try to do /gate it gives me an error message. it said something about an internal error? please help. i already tried redownloading it and reinstalling it!
Odd when I checked my messages, I had none. Anyways I just sent you a folder with the correct file.
Okay, so i re-downloaded the ancientgates plugin and ran it. - ancientgates.use.* does not work but -ancientgates.use.[gateid] now does. (which is really the only one I need so that worked out).
@Freedomna
I PM'd you back, have you not read the message? Try the latest version anyway, it may fix the problem, otherwise read my reply.
Hey Peewei, you never got back to me after I sent you the file, any luck with getting my gates to work :D?
@peewi96
Alright sounds good! :)
@phlegacy
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this problem. I have uploaded a new version (v1.5.6 - currently waiting Bukkit approval) please give this a try once it becomes available.
