@soos621 Thats a bug when the folders doesn't create (you should see a folders named like 17829557858 and so, and backuped world folders should be there). Will be fixed in 4.2.
@Shevchikden
Actually, i was running 2 versions of the plugin (the cases differed)
Hello, i dled the plugin everything works n such as far as i can tell. When i run the backup its creates a yml folder with a listname, if this backs up my world folder then where are the files to retrieve? i am really just wondering how you would go about restoring the world map (i havn't had a map crash or anything) im just curious in case it does come to that point. Thanks
Just confirmed the bug with AutoPurge. It won't just work sometimes, bit nothing critical, will be fixed in 4.2, also java7 backup method will be deleted, but ability to exclude folders will be added, also you will have an ability to choose what to purge.
@dmulloy2
That's strange nothing at log at all, no crash report??. and yes per world saving was removed. Give the list of plugins please.
@Shevchikden
No, it just attempts to save, then the server shuts down. Also, was per world saving removed???
@dmulloy2
any logs?
The new version of this plugin is crashing my server every time it attempts to save. Any suggestions?
@Shevchikden
Im sorry it does matter on Linux!
I had issue with two same files on server. Mine mistake, but still.
@zizitt It doesn't matter what the file name is.
Just a heads up. The new version Using capital letters, old one did not. Is it still safe to use or should i take away the capitals? Had some issues with plugins changing names before.. So I'm a bit cautious about this..
@Steelsouls All threads are starting at the enable of the plugin, but they wont do anything if you not enabled their features in config.
<<reply 1221299>>
is everything working well i'm going to put this on my main server i think it has 50+ people 24/7 just want to confirm.
@Shevchikden
Thank you for the quick reply :) I'm just going to disable NoLagg's save so there's only one. Also, I'm using your auto-save and auto-backup but I don't have purge on (only because you said "Warning: read first"). Even though purge is off, it shows up in my server log upon startup with
Is this going to hurt anything? I have a feeling I'll use the feature once you post documentation, I just don't know what it does yet.
@Steelsouls There is no feature to disable autosave, but you can set a big interval. In old days nolagg autosave feature was more optimsed(saved only a part of chunks, not all), but now it's nearly the same. So basicly you can choose which autosave to use by random :)
@Shevchikden
Thanks for the plugin! Very glad you made this since the old backup plugin I used to use is abandoned. I'm certainly a reader of documentation, but seeing as yours isn't finished, I have a few questions about auto-save.
I'm using NoLagg's auto-save feature. Should I disable that and use yours? If not, can I add enabled: false to the save: section of AutoSaveWorld to disable it? (I don't want to double up on auto-save, I'm using your plugin for the backup). Thanks!
@ChrisPeaBacon It's strange that in 4.1 save wasn't working for you, and what about backup : look's like you map wasn't saveed since "half day", so ofc it was the same, i don't know why the save is not working for you in 4.1.
I made an account just for this plugin. This plugin is useless and DOES NOT WORK. First off, the save command doesn't work at all anymore. It only does backups. Even then it only backsup if I give is a specific external directory to put it in. But it gets better. I was using 4.1 yesterday and a need arrived for a world restore. So I loaded up the youngest backup only to find it's a half day old. I loaded the next youngest backup, same result. After checking 6 others it seems the plugin was not backing up at all but instead creating a COPY of my first backup and putting it in a new folder. REALLY? Does the dev even test this shit before he releases it? Anyway I'm done using this huge POS. I remembered I can just make a script to back up my stuff. Haven't had a problem since. If you want to do the same without having to worry about BS like this just google "Automatic minecraft server backup script".
@Shevchikden
I was using the wrong build :( The newest one works perfectly fine (4.1) I was just wondering if the per world settings were removed.
@dmulloy2 That's starnge, no more errors was for me. Need to check this again. Are you sure that you are using the latest 4.1, it was updated 5-6 times already.
Damn, found a critical bug(after using commands, plugin will ignore enabled setting), fixed and have to reupload new version again.
Was per world saves removed? And im still getting some "Save Failed" with 4.1
