WorldGuard Region Effects
Description
WorldGuard Region Effects lets you give WorldGuard regions effects. That means players automatically get a potion effect when they enter the region and lose it when they leave the region.
The plugin adds an additionally flag to WorldGuard regions: effects. This flag allows you to set multiple effects for the region. It requires WorldGuard Custom Flags to work.
The source is now available on github.
If the effects don't appear try:
/region flag __global__
effects speed
/region flag __global__
effects
Usage
Possible effects: speed, slow, fast_digging, slow_digging, increase_damage, jump, regeneration, damage_resistance, fire_resistance, water_breathing, hunger, weakness, blindness, poison, invisibility, night_vision and confusion. You can also set the level for the effect (ANY value, also values that would be impossible normally like negative values). For more information click here.
Example:
/region flag exampleRegion effects speed 3,jump II,damage_resistance -1
This line would affect that you get a much faster (speed 3), can jump about 2 block high (jump II) and get more damage (damage_resistance -1). As you can see here you can also use Roman numerals (just from I to VI) for the level.

Commands
- /toggleeffects or /te - allows you to toggle the region effects (permission: effects.toggle)

All plugins should always work for newer versions. So please first try to run them on your server and if there are problems post them in the forum.

Will this plugin be update to 1.7.x
When I enter a region I gain the effect, but since it runs for 15 seconds I don't loose the effect as soon as I leave the region.
Is it possible to make a region apply effects to everyone except the owner? Or just everyone except a specific player?

Disable the effects.toggle permission for them. How this is done depends on the permissions plugin you are using.
How can I disable /te it's default for everyone.
Ok resolve. Worldguardregioneffects work but when i put also worldguardplayerdamage this cancel flag of worldguardregioneffects but the plugin work however. Pls fix it !.

hi ! great plugin!
But one problem: im in a region with effects and work. But if i teleport ( /tp or other ) the effects remain on player. Only disappear when I leave the region walking.

I think its great, but it can only do effects that potions have. For instance, I was trying to make a region give someone nausea, but when I type it in it says "Unknown Potion ID" or something like that.
The plugin works fine, but the config.yml dosnt work :(
Harming seems to cause me to crash when testing with it. Relevant info: I have created a harming region in the water so when players try to flee the boat they die, however when I jump in the water and die my client is kicked from server with an internal server error. Failed to handle packet Reported exception: Ticking player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
edit- nevermind I believe this was conflicting with another plugin, my guess is instant spawn
I downloaded this and WorldGuard Custom Flags but it doesn't work. I do /rg flag spawn effects night_vision How come it doesnt work?
Any info regarding possible release?

I am working on a new release that will totally change the way the plugin works and will probably also remove this problem, I just have to fix a few bugs before I publish it ;) .

Did you also install WG Custom Flags? If yes, is there any error in your server log?
