Description
This plugin looks for suitable Minecarts and links them together if possible. When two Minecarts are being "linked", the Minecarts will act as one single moving train.
Once carts are successfully linked, an effect is played and their velocity is shared in combination with an individual factor for each Minecart, which is used to remain a steady gap between carts. This gap is adjustable, the force at which this happens as well.
End result: a train! You can move it, make a roller-coaster out of it, split it in half, watch trains collide, whatever you want to do with trains. :)
As for 1.21, it is also possible to safely exit your train by setting an exit offset with a (sideways) push factor for the train. This feature is disabled by default. (only affects dropped items). If you want to display arrival times on signs (see redstone circuit part) you need SignLink, see the downloads on the bottom of the page.
As for 1.35 you can set train properties to make 'special' trains, or to 'finalize' a train

FAQ
When players are near, trains reach their destinations. With no one near, they don't. What do I do?
By default trains do not keep chunks loaded, and they will unload once they move into unloaded chunks. To make trains keep the chunk area (and themselves) around them loaded, set the 'keepchunksloaded' property to True. This can be done using the /train keepchunksloaded true command, using a property sign or by changing it to true in the DefaultTrainProperties.yml file. Incompatibilities
If you have another plugin that performs similar Minecart replacement techniques, it is likely that TrainCarts will not function or function poorly. For the 'chunk persistence' part of this plugin, other plugins that unload chunks without firing events result in this feature failing. Minebackup is known for having this problem.
Metrics
This plugin sends server count statistics to MCStats.org. You can (globally) opt out in the PluginMetrics/config.yml file.
@Samueljuhasz What server are you running on (Spigot, craftBukkit, etc. + version) and what version of BKCommonLib and TrainCarts are you running? Does everything shut down properly? (as in, it shows 'disabling Train Carts' in the log)
I've got a problem, after a restart with (Remotetoolkitplugin) the train disapears and than they apears later when they have a collision with a normal minecart whta can i do?
Notice: I am aware of an issue where player passengers teleport outside of their minecart when the minecart gets out of range of the viewer player, and sadly this is a default server<>client bug. But no worries: just like the lag problem with minecart sound, I will find a solution. Like I find solutions for pretty much all Bukkit-caused trouble I've encountered thus far...
Anyway no need to report it or bug me about it - I know of it and am going to fix it. Even if it requires me to completely overwrite Bukkit classes...
@FrontBack @minecraftserverEU There is now one back again and the build server is back up.
The latest build found on the jenkins build server functions on CraftBukkit 1.6.2 R0.1 (tested). Use the latest BKCommonLib build from the build server as well, which is also 1.6.2 R0.1. Compatibility for 1.6.1 R0.1 is kinda lacking, since there were some server-related issues with that CraftBukkit build I didn't bother bugfixing that to a full extent. For 1.6.2 everything has been fixed up atm, including the vehicle_exit blocking.
As far as I know, there isn't a sign that locks passengers to the train, so they can't exit during the ride.

@FrontBack Then that must be new, since it did work a while back. Anyhow, what functionality do you need Minecart Mania for? I already added TC-versions for most if not all of the functionality in MM due to incompatibility reasons.
How can I make Minecart Mania + TrainCarts work toghether? With both plugins enabled, you can't make trains.
@SilverBlood92 The ticket system is kinda bare-boned and doesn't even use Vault, so yeah, it needs some work indeed. It should work fine on the default essentials economy system though, that is what it's been tested on. It works on 1.72.8 for sure.
@draccydragon Owner is moving servers around, will be back on in a few hours-days. I will upload the 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 builds of BKCommonLib officially anyway, so no biggie.

I recently tried to add a "ticket" sign in version 1.5.2 But, it seems to be broken... I think i did everything well...
I only have EssentialsEco as an economy core, i'm cureently using Vault as well and other plugins like CookieMonster, ChestShop, RealJobs, PlotShop.

Yes, it does work, but only just a couple of carts just to see if it linked... nothing else. Didn't test SignLinks either, but am going to go through it thoroughly tonight to see if there are any problems.
I was asking because I saw those 20 errors that popped up and didn't really understand what they meant other than that max size error that you mentioned.

@saki2fifty To me it seems all that is failing is that TrainCarts is unable to change the item max size from 1 to 64 for minecart items. Apart from that, I don't see much going wrong. Does it function, or not, apart from that?

Hey BergerKiller, I've used your plugin in the past and thought it was amazing. Now I'm using MCPC+ along with several mods and one in particular is Railcraft. Because of how it functions, I just don't get the same refined feeling I got when using Traincarts. Railcraft linking (among several other things) has the carts kinda rubbery between each one, which I remember you had that same problem way back when, but got it fixed. That's just only one issue.
I'm wanting to use Traincarts and Railcraft on the same server... Traincarts being used by me for the general server based rail system, and Railcraft being used by the players. However, below is the error that i'm getting, but in the end, it looks like it does load.
Any idea's what this error is about? (if you don't wish to support this setup, no problems)

@NorbuGames I don't really get what you need... Can you explain exactly what it looks like that you need? I can say there is an effect sign to play the dispenser sound...but I need more info.
