TNTCannon v0.7b
Extremely simple, minimal configuration, fun addition to the game. What this plugin does is turn a dispenser into a cannon. What happens is when you create a sign behind the dispenser and then, after adjusting the aiming, click on the sign with a Flint and Steel equipped you will fire various types of projectiles and effects depending on what kind of barrel and what type of ammunition recipe is in the dispenser. Ammunition
- Ball (Clay ball, Paper, Sulphur): Fires a basic, small explosive, projectile.
- Fireball (FireCharge, Paper, Sulphur): Similar to ball round except incendiary.
- Explode (TNT, Paper, Sulphur): Fires a high explosive TNT projectile.
- Catapult (MineCart, TNT): Launches a nearby entity with a minor explosion on contact.
- Buck (Four of each: Melon Seeds, Paper, Sulphur): Fires a barrage of 'pellets' that individually do minor explosive damage.
- Buster (Eye of Ender, Paper, Sulphur): Fires a tunneling round that creates a very large explosion inside the target.
Barrels
Barrels alter the effects of ammunition. Barrel materials include : Iron Block, Gold Block, Diamond Block, Emerald Block.
- Normal (three iron blocks):Basic barrel with no additional effects.
- Long (more than three of any barrel material): Upgraded Velocity
- Short (less than three of any barrel material): Lowered Velocity
- None: No special effects with terrible accuracy and lower than normal power.
- Catapult (one emerald block followed by two iron blocks): Improved catapult round accuracy and velocity.
- Shotgun (one gold block followed by two iron blocks): Improved buck round accuracy and velocity.
- Fireball (one diamond block followed by two iron blocks): Improved fireball round accuracy and velocity.
Permissions
- tntcannon.admin
- Allows overriding Sign protections. Includes tntcannon.sign.
- tntcannon.sign
- Allows creation of Cannon signs.
Signs
- To create a sign:
- Face the back of the dispenser, and place the sign.
- On the FIRST line type: [cannon]
- On the SECOND line, leave it blank for private or for public type: public.

"Face the back of the sign, and place the sign" I don't get it, how do I face the back of the sign when I haven't placed it? Did you mean dispenser?
I type [cannon] on the first line but it doesn't create it.

Most likely, however I haven't tested. I haven't even opened the game in months tbh.

While not in creative, destroy the sign then the rest becomes destructible as well.
How do you destroy a cannon?

Ah ok, so 0.5 will work in 1.3.2 though, correct? And thanks for the reply :P

Both versions 0.5 and 0.7beta are working on 1.3.2. As the name suggests 0.7b is incomplete . I mainly released it as a teaser of what is to come. I still need to recode the plugin again as it is "messy" and could be done much better. I am working on another project at the moment and with the onset of college classes just starting up again for me means my time towards programming has been cut drastically. I haven't abandoned this plugin though I feel it needs something different to make it stand out.
Also, it is v0.7b that uses the flint and tinder, not v0.5.
I assume this is by chance not working in 1.3.2? I am trying to use it on my server and with no luck, it seems like it works, but when i right click the sign with my flint and tinder (i have tried left click as well) Nothing happens :/. It looks like a really awesome plugin and i would love to use it!

Give yourself the permission node tntcannon.sign and ensure you're actually typing "[cannon]". The permission node is case-sensitive and the sign text is not.

When I place a sign behind the cannon, nothing happens, and dispencer stays the same.

I can look into doing that. I completely agree 100% to the cooldown and can implement the reloading of a cannon to cause the player to only be able to load one full ammo recipe at a time. Those together will erase cannon spams. I'm thinking of this cooldown to be on a per/cannon basis though.
I was hoping you could add a cooldown feature or require explicit costs for the recipes so you would have to put new items in the dispenser after every use.
I already know of a handful of bugs in the latest beta version I just released. So when you find an issue, please be so kind as to create a ticket on this plugin so it can be addressed. Thanks!

I updated the plugin to work with the latest CB. No additional features though. I haven't played the game in about a year but I may add additional features soon such as alternate projectiles and easier use of the cannon.

Just confirmed I'm using the latest version, it just outputs the wrong version in the log for some reason. Could you please update it for R6 or 1.2 RB when it comes out?

For starters, you're using an old version. And Secondly, look at what server v0.4 was made for, then look again at the version of the server you're using. It hasn't been updated in a while since Jan 11. It was made for version 1.0, not 1.2.
