Version 0.7b

Completely rewritten function. Now fires a projectile based on ammunition and barrel recipes. Aiming is now possible by clicking on the sides or top of the dispenser. Firing the cannon is now caused by clicking the sign with a flint and steel in hand.

  • Changed Features:
    • No longer fired by redstone input. Instead it is fired by clicking with flint and steel on the sign.
  • Added Ammo Types:
    • Catapult: Launches a random entity in front of barrel. Requires one of each: MineCart, TNT
    • Explode: Fires a high explosive round. Requires one of each: TNT + Paper + Sulphur
    • Ball: Fires a basic round with average explosion. Requires one of each: Clay Ball, Paper, Sulphur
    • Fireball: Similar to ball round except incendiary. Requires one of each: Firecharge + Paper + Sulphur
    • Buck: Fires a shotgun style round with each pellet doing minor explosive damage. Requires four of each: Melon seeds, Paper, Sulphur
    • Buster: Fires a tunneling round that does a minor damage hole and then a very large explosion internally. Requires one of each: Eye of Ender, Paper, Sulphur
  • Added Barrel Materials:
    • Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Emerald blocks
  • Added Barrel Types:
    • Normal: Basic barrel type. Adds no additional features. Made by placing three iron blocks.
    • Long: Same as Normal type, however projectile speed is slightly stronger. Made by placing more than three of any barrel material type.
    • Short: Same as Normal type, however projectile speed is slower and less accurate. Made by placing less than three of any barrel material type.
    • None: Same as Short type, however projectile speed is significantly less accurate.
    • Catapult: Catapult rounds are fired more accurately and at higher speed. Made by placing one emerald block followed by two iron blocks.
    • Shotgun: Shotgun rounds are fired more accurately and at higher speed. Made by placing one gold block followed by two iron blocks.
    • Fireball: Fireball rounds are fired more accurately and at higher speeds. Also ball and explosive rounds are ignited. Made by placing one diamond block followed by two iron blocks.
  • Added additional configurations:
    • All ammunition types can be enabled or disabled through the config file.
  • Added protections:
    • Explosions no longer destroy cannon
    • Pistons no longer move or destroy cannon

  • Bug Fixes:
    • Random Freeze/Crash fixed. Entity collision re-enabled and includes Animals and Monsters.
  • New Features:
    • Randomized accuracy of rounds
    • Addition of Iron_Block "barrel" to increase accuracy and power slightly. No barrel gives terrible accuracy and power. From 1 to 3 Iron_Blocks gives increased accuracy and power to the round. Beyond 3 and up to 7, accuracy continues to grow but power declines.
    • Right-clicking sign toggles between 2/3/4 base power
