TARDISWeepingAngels
Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDISWeepingAngels files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
For 1.15.2, please downloadTARDISWeepingAngels and TARDISWeepingAngels Resource Pack from the TARDIS Jenkins server: http://tardisjenkins.duckdns.org:8080/
Inspired by: TARDIS Ticket #530 - Weeping Angels
This plugin tranforms skeletons into terrifying Weeping Angels (as seen on Doctor Who), zombies into Cybermen and Pig Zombies into angry Ice Warriors. Version 2 adds Daleks, Empty Children, Sontarans (and Strax), Silurians, Zygons, Silent and Vashta Nerada! Version 3 adds Ood, Judoon, Toclafane and K9 :)

Weeping Angel Information
Weeping Angels only spawn at night in loaded chunks. They spawn with iron armour and are equipped with a barrier block in each hand (their wings).
Weeping Angels can only be killed with the configured weapon - by default a DIAMOND_PICKAXE - hitting them with anything else has no effect. When they die they drop random amounts (1-3) of the configured items (STONE and COBBLESTONE by default), and very rarely a skull.
The angels move pretty fast, but you can freeze them in place by looking at them and quickly pressing the sneak key. Better arm yourself or flee quickly though, as they'll be after you again in a snap - and if they touch you, you'll be teleported away to a random location. If the TARDIS plugin is also installed (if it isn't WHY NOT?), your TARDIS Key will be stolen.
Cybermen Information
Cybermen can spawn at anytime. They spawn with iron armour.
If configured, Cybermen will upgrade villagers and players when they have killed them (a new Cyberman) spawns in their place. If the upgraded entity was a player, the new Cyberman displays the player's name above its head.
Ice Warrior Information
Ice Warriors are really angry. They can spawn at anytime, but only spawn in snowy, icy or cold biomes. They carry an ice dagger. Did I mention they're angry!
Dalek Information
Daleks are skeletons disguised as retextured snowmen. They come in different colours, but mostly spawn in their typical bronze colour. Exterminate!
Empty Children
Empty Children spawn anytime, and are of course child size. If you are killed by an Empty Child you get a gas mask applied to your head when you respawn that you can't remove for 30 seconds.
Judoon
Judoon are the police force of the Whoniverse. Click an Judoon to claim it as your own. You can equip Judoon with ammunition (craft with arrows and gunpowder and put into a shulker box, then right click the Judoon with the box). Judoon can then be toggled to be in guard mode and will shoot any hostile mobs nearby. Use the /twa follow command to make the Judoon follow you around.
Ood
Ood spawn randomly around villagers. Click an Ood to claim it as your own. Use the /twa follow command to make the Ood follow you around.
K-9
You can either craft a K-9 or tame a wolf to get a K-9! Clicking a K-9 will toggle whether he will follow you or stay put. The crafting recipe is 3 iron ingots, 3 redstone, and 3 bones in the crafting grid:
III RRR BBB
Silurians
Only spawn underground in caves. Watch out for their Silurian guns!
Sontarans
Sontarans will try to kill you (as any good Sontaran should). If you manage to right-click a Sontaran with a Weakness Potion before he kills you, he will transform into Strax.
Strax
If you right-click Strax he'll talk to you, and if you right-click him with an empty bucket, you'll be able to milk him. Yum, yum Sontaran lactic fluid :) Be careful not to anger him though as he'll go rabid on you and let his killer Sontaran instincts get the better of him!
Vashta Nerada
Vashta Nerada have a random (configurable) chance of spawning when a bookshelf is broken, say "Hey who turned out the lights?" and of course try to eat you!
Zygons
Zygons don't do much yet (except try to kill you), but they look pretty cool. Watch this space...

The reason that I ask is because when the server first loads there is the entry that Daleks have been found and redisguised. Usually the Daleks that are redisguised don't have the snow trail. So hence I was curious if there was a command that could run the redisguised command. That and after changing the mob numbers for planets.
@X00dis
Or this: https://github.com/rutgerkok/ClimateChanger#climatechanger
@X00dis
Squawkers is correct, I had a conversation with the developer of LibsDisguises, and there is nothing we can do about the snow (apart from changing the biome to something different). Perhaps a 'Skaro' world generator that doesn't generate any cold biomes... might be possible with http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/terrain-control/
@X00dis
They don't actually drag snow. Client limitation
is there a reload command so that the daleks can be reset (so they dont drag snow)?
@alexander775941
Just visit the TARDIS Jenkins Server
@eccentricnz
Can you set up a beta thing like you did with the tardis?
Added Vashta Nerada to the development build tonight, they have a random (configurable) chance of spawning when a bookshelf is broken, and say "Hey who turned out the lights?".
@junkerprime
All skeletons will have an Angel head, that's the only way that it works at all, as the angel 'helmet' is actually the wing... as apposed to a Cyberman where its helmet covers the whole of the Zombie head.
I have updated the skeleton and removed all angel textures (except for the head) in later versions of the TWA resource pack (though I'm currently in the middle of adding more monsters and the skeleton texture needs some more work), you probably need to update the pack.
Latest files are here: https://github.com/eccentricdevotion/TARDISWeepingAngels-Resource-Pack - follow the instructions in the README.
Kind of stuck trying to figure this out. If I run with the default vanilla resourcepack and all the TARDIS packs, every skeleton receives the weeping angel skin. The actual angels are the only ones that get a wing. Kind of hard to tell apart.
If I run a custom resource pack with random mobs activated, I get mixed results. Angels with skeleton heads always. and Skeletons randomly get the angel body's without the wings.
I've tried shifting the order of my resource packs, as well as disabling and enabling random mobs in mcpatcher, I can never get the desired result... angels that look like angels with skeletons that look like skeletons.
On a side note.. cybermen and zombies always look correct. I must be doing somethign right.
I got it to work,
I found out that you can do it by setting the monster spawn to true and adjusting the spawn rate to 0 in the config file.
So now the Evil Beings of Doctor Who can spawn and the minecraft ones don't, unless of course you manually place a egg in creative....
@X00dis
TWA should ignore MV settings, again it's not something I've actually tried
/killall [mob type] <radius> [world]
command (Essentials plugin) should get rid of unwanted mobs@eccentricnz
Didn't work. I think MV is messing it up. It used to be with MV 2.4 if you set the world as false for monsters, the ones that had already spawned were "despawned" 2.5 doesn't seem to do that. I am worried that if I go into the settings and false everything and set the spawnrate to 0, that the Angels mod's monsters wont spawn at all. Or is it separate, meaning that the angels dont rely on what MV has in its settings.
I will try it and let you know what happens
@X00dis
I haven't tried it, but
/gamerule doMobSpawning False
might work?Question: whats the best way to set up a server that only the Whovian Mobs spawn and not the vanilla monsters. Im thinking something with multiverse but not 100% sure
@TheBlocktor
GitHub = Java source code
Jenkins = Build server (Jenkins uses the code on GitHub to build the jar file). A link to the TARDIS Jenkins (the server also hosts other plugins) is on the TARDIS plugin page
You will need to get the latest Resource Pack from GitHub as well (follow the instructions in the readme)
sorry to sound like a genuine noob, but where do I get the development build for this plugin. I checked the github for it and it doesn't come up as a plugin. When I download it, its a zip not a jar. I really need those aliens for my doctor who youtube series asap thanks. PS your plugins are the best!
Is there a way to reload the plugin while the server is running?
