I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis version
command if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis version
command if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true
in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay
command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

Hello there, I just have a feature suggestion to make, if you're not too busy. In the show, the Architectural Reconfiguration System doesn't just make rooms, but also machines and all sorts of other things. Apparently it's worth more than the "total sum of any currency". So I was wondering if it would be possible to make the ARS able to create any Minecraft item? That might be too overpowered, but maybe it could create TARDIS circuits instead? I feel like this might be a cool feature to have.
Another question, back in 1.12.2, are you ever going to be able to fix the "blaze rod" problem? It always shows up as the 11th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. Not a very good thing when you're wanting a regular blaze rod.
In reply to roracle:
Blaze rod texture is controlled by the resource pack, not the plugin. I think Optifine now supports models in its Custom Item Textures properties, so should be able to do something... will look into it.
In reply to roracle:
Separate blaze rod and sonic textures

Hey there, I'm sure you're aware, but in case you aren't, 1.13 is out! I haven't tested it yet, still need to get the 1.13 stuff downloaded and compiled, first.
However, I will be testing this plugin, but ItemIDs are ALL gone and there is a new naming convention being used.
In reply to roracle:
Yup, definitely aware, been working on the 1.13 update since January, the first commit had 336 changed files with 6,701 additions and 5,525 deletions... and there have been ~150 commits since then.
Currently have a version that compiles and runs on the new 1.13 Spigot server but there are still numerous features to test to make sure they're working properly...
I may start doing Jenkins builds in the next few days, but without other dependencies being updated (WorldGuard, LibsDisguises, TerrainControl) it won't be a full featured or stable release!
In reply to roracle:
New build on the Jenkins server - use for TESTING ONLY!
In reply to eccentricnz:
I know you say for testing only, is this the reason why?
EDIT: Also what about TARDIS Chunk Generator?
In reply to roracle:
Until the other plugins update, I'd steer well clear of your production server... I was getting errors with WorldGuard in my testing, and of course TerrainControl probably won't work at all (I didn't even bother testing as their GitHub page says its basically abandoned - have already coded a switch to OpenTerrainGenerator). LibsDisguises has had updates in the last few days (for 1.12) so might not be too long to wait as it's active at least...
If you want to test, make a copy of your server to install it on.
You'll need TARDISChunkGenerator v4.0 which is on the Jenkins server as well.

I was wondering if it were possible to create more than one Tardis. I’ve looked through the config and haven’t found anything. I could just have another account create another Tardis and still use it but I was wondering if it’s posssible to skip all that and have multiple for the same account.
In reply to bigbylupus01:
Only one "working" TARDIS per player.
You can abandon a TARDIS and create another one though - http://eccentricdevotion.github.io/TARDIS/abandon.html
Hey I'm getting this error after updating my Spigot version today. Built today (7/11/18 at 6am EST) using BuildTools, version string is git-Spigot-642f6d2-ca6d2cf (MC: 1.12.2).
Seems to be something with the namespaced key no longer being valid for a shaped recipe? Not sure if something changed in CraftBukkit/Spigot that would break the existing recipe, or it could be a bug on their end.
Works fine on a week-old version (7/04/18 at 6am EST) of Spigot.

Looks like the key needs to be lowercase...
Fixed in build #1716 on the TARDIS Jenkins server, make sure you grab the latest TARDISChunkGenerator from there too, if you update.
Hello, the plugin wont work for some reason could you maybe help me?
https://dev.bukkit.org/paste/d3bafc02
Nevermind i fixed it i forgot chunck generator :).
I had taken a Minecraft break for a while and recently upgraded everything on my server to make all of the plugins happy again, including your Tardis.
We've also been watching the Twitch Doctor Who marathon. It's been a long time since I had seen many of the classic episodes, but I keep seeing references to Tardis functions!
You have really done a most excellent job with incorporating the Tardis' functionality from multiple seasons and multiple Doctors! I've always loved it, but now I have newfound appreciation- thanks for making such a great addition to Minecraft!
well, ok, so, i cant use this mod since my server uses libsdisguise but im not PAYING for the new version of libsdisguise. soooo can u help me find some way to get 9.2.4 for free?
In reply to postpwnedjr:
I suggest you go back to the LibsDisguises page and actually read it, there is a link to where you can download the plugin for free.
