SOLAR APOCALYPSE!
The worlds rotation is slowing, We must move underground to Survive!
Solar Apocalypse is a survival game, to make mine craft even harder! The mod destroys all plant and animal life on the surface over a span of 4 days. Players are forced to move underground and try to survive as long as they can.
Mod Features
Natural looking Destruction and Regrowth
- World Changes to a fiery or frozen wasteland.
- All exposed plant life dies off.
- Biomes Change to desert during the day and tundra at night.
- The world can be slowly restored with the regrow system a few blocks at a time.
Day GamePlay Mechanics
- Lava balls fall from the sky
- Anything exposed to Sun Light will burst into flames.
- Colored glass can protect from the suns death rays.
Night GamePlay Mechanics
- Players and Animals take cold damage when away from heat sources (lights) even under ground!
- Full Leather armor can keep players warm underground, but not outside.
- Players can see there breath when they are getting too far from the light.
- Snow Piles up to form huge drifts.
- Super lighting storms strike without warning.
Time Control
- The time length of Day, Night and Dusk/Dawn can be independently increased, decreased or skipped entirely.
- Players can right click a clock for info about whats going on and how much time is left.
Mulit-World Support
- You can destroy as many worlds as you like in many different ways.
- Destruction pauses if no players are in the world
Fully Customizable World Config
- Each world can have its own config separate config file.
- Plugin config file.
- The World's Config File can be modified for new types of gameplay.
- Share your Config files on the forums!
Basic Commands
- /apocadmin -plugins help
- /apocadmin [worldName] Start - Starts Solar Apocalypse on [worldName]
- /apocadmin [worldName] Stop - Stops Solar Apocalypse

How To Install and run
- Download the plugin
- Place the .jar file in your plugins directory.
- Run the server.
- To start a game type "/ApocAdmin world start" where world is the name of the world you want to destroy!
- Enjoy the game!
- type "/ApocAdmin world stop" to stop.

Dusk and Dawn are now safe to go to the surface and the world will regrow a little.
With the new Multiplier system After day 5 one mine craft day will last 30+ hours. with all the horrors of day and night to survive!
I'll be updating the the help files soon so you can make your own config files. I'll try to up up some variations for a winter only and summer only too.
If any server admins are using 2.3 I would like to visit your server and see it in action.

its that way now /apocadmin world1 start /apocadmin world2 start /apocadmin world3 start ...
however this mod is very taxing on servers and may cause lots of lag as it will be making 3 regrow worlds and 3 block change lists and 300 block changes a sec
Hey, I am wondering if there is a way that with Multiverse that you can make it only happen in certain worlds... I am running a faction server and I am trying to make it so there is multiple games on my server. So, I was wondering if you could go ahead and set it in the config to have it per world or for all worlds. Also so i could set it for that world only.

You could place a roof over the areas you what left alone.
One of the options I'm looking into is making black colored glass protect the area below it.
Any way of protecting a certain area? (spawns, etc)?

Yeah, the original idea of the plugin, was to have a group play for 1-20 days then do a full reset and play again with a new world.
The new regrow system I'm working on is to allow the world to regow a few days then start the destruction again, in a regrow, destroy cycle. i hope to have the looping done in the next version.
Hi! I was thinking if I would install this plugin to my server, when the it has been maybe 50 days and new people joins I think it would bee too hard for them to start.
New bugs found in the regrow system,
When you get below about 60y mark theres a huge lag created. even if the mod is stopped the world is laggy.
So my next version will have an ability to disable the regrow system. But i think i have a fool proof way to handle the regrow system.

sorry my english, i'm telling german.
The last 2 updates destroy the world. it's impossible, to play in the underground. 12 blocks in the deep, i have only 2-3 fps. in overworld, i have more to 60 fps. the big shit - the world its destroyed. without the plugin, the same fps 2-3 in the deep.
the server, now its impossible to play. i have only one way. make new world, make new spawn in the deep and install old plugin from solar. super :(

The Version V2.0.B Beta function for me. at day, the player burn overworld. in the deep, the player freeze without leather-chain.

The mod shouldn't be affecting mobs other then burning them in the sun, if anything it should increase spawns, as theres less animals and stuff on the surface.

Hello, i installed this mod on the latest V2.2.2, and the mod indeed works flawless on my gameservers.com minecraft host server, but there seems to be a little problem, There are no zombies anywhere.. None spawn in dark areas, and We literally found 2 zombies in an entire dungeon, which was just two poison spiders next to a spawner. No zombies seem to spawn, is that a part of the plugin?

Depends on the Minigame plugin you use. solar apoc just needs a target world.
