There should be world support. ;)
Can't you just set the one config To false to stop the Solar Apocalypse, instead of dleting the Config file?
@GetParanoid
3 words. Fire resistance potions. :3
I have a couple of ideas. i think at some time there should be netherrack that starts to replace the ground level dirt/grass and should catch of fire, then there should also be lava that spawns on the ground too. Also diamond armor or gold armor will help protect you from the heat so it is almost possible to go outside
Also noticed that when I have this plugin installed, it prevents me from crafting any of the items from Mo'Creatures (which I have on-server).
How can I make this plugin automated so each time the server restarts the plugin starts up again?
Well, it looks like MinecraftPortCentral skipped right over bukkit version 1.2.5 R2.0 and went straight to 1.2.5 R3.1! >_<
I tried running the plugin anyway and got this error on startup:
I think more customization is REQUIRED: 1) Customization of weather that occurs at day/night 2) Damage 3) Radiation suit (Currently leather?) - able to change to Iron/Gold/Leather/Diamond/Etc.
Thank you! Nice plugin Anyways.
@Turqmelon you could try making the config file read only it only reads the file at load time. not sure what would happen.
@bosky2102 what plugins are you using?
When i used this on a multiworld server it caused multiverse to not reconise the world anymore makeing it look like it just dissaperd
Would you be able to add a config option to have it "restart" it's day count per server restart? I run a Hunger Games style server, and this would be an awesome aspect to have along with it, and since we get a new world per server reboot, we have no actual way of setting it to work with this.
Thanks in advance. :)
@GarretSidzaka The damage is already as low as I can set it. But you have a few options:
can you please add configuration for damage. i left my server on for a day, and everyone join ing pretty much instantly died in about 20 seconds. can you please make it so i can configure or disable the damage? can i make it so its a half heart a minute or something?
Ok Next version is Up.
@BanzayIkoyama
If you restart the server it should auto start next sun rise. you can test it with /time set 0
Theres some odd bugs if I don't start the mod at sun rise.
@Splated
Its probably because I have a slightly older version of bukkit then. I tried deleting the config and got the same error on start-up. Only reason I haven't switched to a newer version is because I use Minecraft Forge, so I have to wait for a new custom build with Forge installed on it to be available. Whenever I get it working, I plan to devote a whole extra world to the solar apocalypse! :D
It's me again. So I have managed to make the mod running yesterday, but my server is not a permanent one, so I only run it when we play. Now I have started the apocalypse the last time, and there's everything fine with the config file (ApocV-B11: true; ApocRunning: true; WorldName: Solar Apocalypse), but when I use the /apoc command it says it's not running.
I used the /apoc start command, so the next day it started over, but I was wondering if there was a way, not having to start the apocalypse again every time we run the server. (I know it's not difficult to restart it, but it's a pain in the ass nevertheless)
Thank you for the awesome mod by the way. When it works, it works just fine :)
@JoshzPruitt delete the config file and try again.
If thats not working it could be that your server is running an older version? I have only tested it on bukkit 1.2.5 R2.0
Got an error on start-up using bukkit 1.2.5 R1.3:
@ultimateowner56 ty for the tip, I got it working sadly the smoke is black so I looks like your heavy cigarette smoker lol.
Its an early warning your too far from a heat(light source), If your close to getting damage from cold, smoke puffs to warn you.
