Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
The SparkTrail plugin aims to utilise the range of particle effects Craftbukkit has to offer. Fire, ender, smoke and even love hearts are only a small portion of the particle effects this plugin utilises. With over 20 unique effects, there's guaranteed to be one that 'tickles your fancy'!
The integration of Player, Location and Entity particle effects, along with a long list of Sound effects comes packaged inside the SparkTrail plugin. We also integrate the plugin's features with newer Minecraft additions, including complete Command Block support for modifying Trail effects.
SparkTrail comes with an auto-updater to save you, as a server owner, from continually checking this page for new files. It simply connects to dev.bukkit.org and compares the versions of available files. If you do not wish for SparkTrail to perform this check, navigate to the Configuration File (config.yml) in the SparkTrail directory of your plugins folder and change "checkForUpdates" and "autoUpdate" to "false". The first value disables the version comparison altogether and the second updates the plugin automatically if new files are detected.
Metrics is used to collect plugin statistics. Only data such as plugin version and players online is collected. If you do not wish for this data to be collected, disable it in the 'Plugin Metrics' folder of your 'plugins' directory.

While that permission list does look up to date, It doesn't appear to work properly with GroupManager. Not even adding sparktrail.* to a player allows them to add effects.
On another note, the vanish check is backwards. If an op is vanished, the particle effect is shown, and if they are not vanished, the particle effect goes away.

The Development Builds For 1.7.2 link doesn't work anymore
Have the permissions been ubdated or changed in 3.0? If so can I have a list of new perms? I am using the 1.7.2 dev builds and players can no longer use smoke with their perms but i can cause I am oped with all sparktrail perms

The Config Has A Setting For The Main Command
Suggestion: Add a true/false option to each particle effect in the config which toggles if particle effects are only activated while the player is moving. This could help with efficiency of server memory and also makes fire/smoke effects at interval 1 less eye-rapey because of standing still :L

Do you have an alias for commands, because I have playertrails also. and theirs was /trail and yours was /spark but now yours is /trail and I cant use both now :s
Dev builds not working for me
Is there any way you can add the option to set the distance for the particles? I find it a little annoying when they are at your feet and they drift up into your screen, I want it more as a trail behind me that I can't see unless I turn around or go in 3rd person. Not sure if everyone agrees with me, but this would be nice if it was an option...

Players spark trail effects should save on the logout event, if you change your effect then logout before the timer saves the effects then are lost.
Does not work on 1.7 Spigot.
